A proper friendly,comfortable experience. Met the gaffer,jock,lovely fella,his staff who were on during my visit,Bina,Gary and Leah,we’re so friendly and helpful it was fabulous. I cannot understand the negative reviews I see? This place has been transformed since 2019 . A great experience,friendly warm pub. Don’t believe the haters!! 10/10

Very friendly pub across from the coach station. They have quite a few vegetarian/vegan options with a decent sized meal running about £7.

Been a few times , it's a decent place with decent prices. The food varies iin quality visit to visit, sometimes its really good for the price, and other times it's a little dire. Staff aren't very professional, nor too helpful should you need any help. Good for a quick drink if you're in the area, but probably consider other places for anything else.

Don’t really leave reviews but the landlord took my sons Identification and destroyed it , my son wasn’t even drinking, also Gary McCartney is the land lord leaving his own positive review about cameras after a reviewer complained about cameras , well Gary you say cleaned up but your penny black Facebook page shows you will a bunch of football hooligans most of whom are barred from the ground on match days they look for and arrange fights outside the pub - #Theboysarein . Overall not a safe place to , not been cleaned up looks more like Gary is encouraging the hooligans the cctv is there to cover away team hooligans. Stay clear of the place !!! -I’ll have to edit because can’t leave another review. haha you say pop in for a chat jock. You want a face to face do you ! Ok will see you next away match can’t intimidate me you big bully !!!

I like the place. The beer is always good, it's always got people in which can't be said for a lot of pubs these days and the food is reasonable. Plenty of bar games and live football. What's not to like?!

First impression was that it is nice pub, than things went down from there. Burgers were absolutely terrible taste. It was Signature burgers ordered. Afterwards to big surprise it was that there is CCTV in toilets!
