Great pub for beer and atmosphere. Lots of choice of beer, and always excellent quality. Not sure why so many reviews claiming it's expensive, as it's one of the cheapest pints around (see picture of price board starting at £2.80 a pint!).

Always been a favourite pub of mine. Amazing beer selection, wonderfully friendly staff and such a welcoming environment. Quiet yet lively, dated yet modern. One of my top 5 pubs.

Went for the first time the other evening and was surprised how "traditional" it is. No blaring music, TV or fruit machines. Simply the buzz of conversation and people enjoying the Real Ale they serve. People were friendly and it's dog frendly. There's a wood burning stove too. Sadly I was the designated driver and so unable to sample the good variety of beers, next time though....... 😁

Nice and friendly pub with a large beer garden. Good selection of beers, lagers, wines and spirits. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice if you want a quiet read or place to go as no slot machine's or jukebox. Well worth a visit

One of the best local pubs. Has an ace amount of real ales, cider and crisp selection. Good pub quiz and excellent beer garden. Dog friendly, kid unfriendly. Only downside is no real food option but no big deal.
