The Shepley Spitfire Pub & Restaurant in Sheffield

I've known about this pub for a while now and has been on my to do list for a while.So what better time to visit than on Spitfire day the 5th March when the Spitfire first took flight in 1936.This was my Birthday today and was the final destination of the day and to finish the day with a nice drink and evening meal.The feel was modern with lots of nice hints of the connections to the famous plane.The food menu was good and catered for most people's tastes.I just went for a starter and main meal which arrived quickly and alot of attention to detail from the staff to make sure you were happy. Spent a couple of hours there enjoying the evening atmosphere from the locals and finishing my Birthday on a worth while high.

We hadn't been there for ages and just happened to go nearby whilst on a good walk. It is dog friendly and on Monday's there's 25% off everything. Staff were helpful and friendly, food and service was excellent. Definitely going again soon.

A great little pub. A great story behind the pub's name as well. Good food and very reasonably priced.

Lovely ‘local’ feel to this pub. Beer wise there’s nothing stand out here but there’s always a delightful buzz to the place

I really want to like this place, but somehow they fail to deliver with what is a really good setup for a pub. Pool table and sports screens, great social area, restaurant area, and all with nice decor and background music. But for my last 4 visits the beer has always been awful, there's people allowed to vape and fill the air with noxious fumes, there's not a nice vibe, and it's generally disappointing. Please, ban vaping, train your staff to smile and show interest in your customers, and make the most of what could be a great pub.

Visited for the first time in over a year. The food was lovely and piping hot . The wine was also very nice . Good quality food and drink, great refurb . Will definitely be going again .

Beautiful pub lovely atmosphere staff are lovely can't do enough for you gorgeous beer garden and kids friendly and is a dog friendly pub best lasagna I've had in a pub I'll be back my autistic son loved the food and he's picky

Fantastic beer garden, spacious, well maintained and surrounded by woodland. The food was great including the kids meals. Plenty of choice for drinks with very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely be going more often. We'll worth a visit.
