We went there on a Saturday at about 5.30pm. It was busy and we had the last table in the conservatory. We had to fight our way past a pram and parents who clearly thought that the pub was a creche. Full of kids, parents, grandparents taking over the place without consideration of others. There weren't may drinks on display and the noise of shouting brats encouraged us to leave after 1 drink. We will go back but will choose our time.

Nice pub and good range of Thornbridge beers but the phrase ‘service with a scowl’ could not be more appropriate. The young lady behind the bar clearly didn’t want to be working last night. That’s fine, don’t work if you’re not happy, go and do something else and stop putting your negativity on customers who come in for a nice pint.My pint, clearly the bottom of the barrel was clearly not drinkable but when I pointed this out, the look I was given was pure contempt. It’s a nice pub but room for improvement

Had originally rated this pub four stars, however since the pandemic, the efforts they've gone to in order to make patrons feel safe, and the expansion of seating outdoors means that this pub it's now easily a five for me. I've visited a number of times since March 2020 purely because it felt like a safe but pleasant place to visit when we were able to. Looking forward to having a pizza in the beer garden again soon!

We had lunch there today…. Never again !!! We had fish fingers and chips … the fish fingers were over cooked and greasy, the chips were dry and overcooked… we were sure they were frozen chips… we left most of the meal… when we complained, we didn’t get an apology just ‘well it was all cooked fresh’, when my daughter said she didn’t believe the chips were fresh she was told they were fresh, the chef had cooked them the night before… as regular customers I would have expected a deduction/refund, an apology at the least… we got nothing…. We will not be returning.. we did give them the opportunity to put things right… it didn’t happen !!!!

Nice family atmosphere sitting outside on warm Saturday afternoon. Enjoyable small bite menu. Fish tacos was great.

Really good pub, great range of well kept Thornbridge ales and great food, my wife says their Sunday roast is the best pub roast she's ever had, I had their burger which was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Decent beer but order your drinks well before half, or maybe in twos, because you could be waiting half an hour after ordering for it to arrive. Also, try and get a table under the heat lamp, because otherwise you'll freeze to death after about 4pm! Food is still good, although again long waits await. Toilets were a bit smelly, & paper towel bins overflowing, etc. but that's nothing new.

Decent pub really nice interior. Beers are great. Not eaten myself but friends really rated the bangers and mash. The reason ive not marked higher is due to the overpricing! But if you dont mind a literal small handful of chips for £4 please ignore last comment 😂

Good menu. Well-priced and prepared. Great level of service, food arrived quickly, even on a busy Friday evening. Photos show vegetarian chimichanga and bangers and mash.
