The Three Merry Lads in Sheffield

Went here for tea when in Sheffield for a long weekend. Chose it mainly because it was dog friendly and we have a dog. Turned out really nice. Amazing subtle log fire smell, spacious, welcoming and the food was great! Home made fish cakes with home made chips!

The staff was amazing when we was there we hired out their funtion room for our Gender Reveal. The food was really good staff always happy to help with anything. Good choices of beer & ales. Even the locals in the pub was nice. I would defintely recommend this place.

A very disappointing experience, booked for 10 people for a special occasion, food took over an hour and half to arrive and was overcooked, batter on fish really hard, no taste in other meals. Staff fairly friendly but didn't make you feel welcome. Unfortunately would not recommend and would not return. Really spoilt a special occasion.

Outstanding customer service. Really genuine welcome, great value for money, beautiful decor set in stunning scenery. Made a real fuss of our dog too. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

We happened on a brass band Xmas carol singing, pub was well attended with decent COVID rules met. A real jovial evening had by all, good beer food etc.

Always friendly fast service, food is good but not top notch but good pub food served well. Drinks are excellent and large variety to choose from recently redecorated and looks much cleaner and fresher

Six of us visited this pub for lunch, during half term. It was welcoming, with lovely wood fires. Great burgers and stone baked pizza and fantastic service. The staff went out if their way to meet my disability needs, which I had told them about in advance. They even managed to get all sux orders out to the table at the same time!

Unfortunately appears to have new owners / cooks. Used to be a 5 stars every time but sadly recently the food has really tasted quite bad and of a much lower quality, for example the fish and chips actually tasted boiled this time. Such a lovely view and location, so I really hope the food gets back to the quality of food we were used to the three merry lads serving.

Called for a post walk drink ,13 miles we earnt it 🤣, very pleasant bar staff . Sunday lunch was been served looked and smelt delicious. Sat outside with the sun 🌞 beaming on us. Will definitely be calling in again and ordering food .

Well situated at the top of Lodge Moor with beautiful views over Rivelin Valley.We arrived mid-afternoon on a weekday without a booking. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and seated us in the warmest part of the pub for our older (nesher) members. They were friendly, helpful and polite throughout our stay.Our meals were absolutely delicious, and not too outrageously priced. We ranged from vegetarian to pie and burger eaters to seafood enthusiasts, and each of our party of five agreed that the food was outstanding.The pub itself was clean and disabled-friendly, with a ramp and adequate room for wheelchair manoeuvres inside!There was a lovely outside seating area with a children's play area, including a bouncy castle.Altogether a very enjoyable experience, and one which I look forward to repeating!Would certainly recommend!
