The Wentworth House Hotel in Sheffield

Fantastic home cooked food,with very generous portion sizes,great choice of beer/lager in a more than friendly environment.

I'm not usually a burger fan, but this is the best burger I've had in a very long time! The chips are beautiful- soft & fluffy inside, full of flavour. Brioche is fresh and doesnt overwhelm the home made burger. Cheese melted to perfection. I totally 'lucked out' eating here. Drinks were great and atmosphere was friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

The landlord was very helpful with football arrangements and parking. He also runs the Riverside cafe and bar near Hillsborough. Great breakfast and great staff

Proper pub, always great beer, staff ultra friendly and helpful...and now it's a real hockey pub.

A good traditional pub, good ales, sad that it has to limit it's opening times to weekend's.

Perfect for a few pints before going to the arena.

Cracking little pub, fair choice of drinks, lovely bar staff but parking is a problem in the week during the day. Can use Forgemasters carpark weekends. Haven't tried the food but it certainly smelled delicious when we visited.

Chris and the staff made us feel really welcome, the Magnet on tap was brilliant. Outside area was lovely, atmosphere was great, had a great night and will definitely be back.
