Convenient chain pub/restaurant just off parkway. Reasonable prices, steak was actually the medium rare requested and cooked very evenly. Loses a star for mushroom with the texture of shoe leather.

We had booked in advance for 5 people for Saturday 19th February for my sons birthday. On arriving the football was on the big screen and it was packed with adults and children. We passed through to the eating area. We were shown to a table.all the other tables were empty which isn't very reassuring in the dining area on a Saturday tea time. . And 2 tables from us was a tall bar table with seats and 4 very loud drunk lads watching the football. Constantly swearing and shouting . I have no problem with people going to a pub and enjoying themselves if it is away from the restaurant area. There was no way we were going to be able to even have a conversation let alone enjoy a meal. We looked at the menu for a good 10 minutes before unanimously deciding to leave. Had all the football fans and drinkers been at the bar end of the pub we would have stayed. This completely ruined the night and my sons birthday and has completely put me off trying a sizzler again

Every table was grotty and sticky. Multiple chairs damaged to the point of you sat on them you'd fall through them. Didn't even order a drink, just got up and left. Used to be such a nice pub years ago, was disappointed.

The vegan options were very limited (with being a sizzler pub, they all have the same restricted menu). The area I was sat was directly under a part of the ceiling that looked like it could collapse at any moment. When the food arrived, it was nice, however.
