Urban Choola in Sheffield

I couldn’t fault this place. Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Vishnu and Sakina were kind enough to accommodate our unusual needs & the service lad (I did not catch his name) did a great job getting our food out just in time. The staff are more than happy to explain the allergens and the food menu and special requirements are taken care of efficiently. Overall lovely restaurant will definitely be back.

It was our first visit to Urban Choola and I was really impressed. Delicious food, amazing quality service, plenty of good vegan options, one of my favourite places in Sheffield now. Vegetable samosas were to die for, so don't forget about them whilst placing an order! Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service that you receive. Will be back to Urban Choola very soon.

Really delicious, creamy sauces with a bit of kick. The aubergine masala was particularly good. We shall definitely return to sample more of the menu

Food is really delicious, their starters like chicken duck kabab dish is classic one and the lamb chops from the main course were my favourite, and for their prices it's 100% worth it. Atmosphere is chill and cool.The staffs were super friendly and customer orient even on a busy weekend day. Being a foodie, I strongly recommend this place for any asian food lovers.

My family and I had an amazing dinner here recently. The food is absolutely incredible. The staff are very polite and friendly. The atmosphere is quite cool - perfect for a nice meal. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and a great service.

One of the best places to go and have Indian cuisine. My experience every time I went there was getting better and better. Never had any regrets. Drinks as well as food was always good. And customer experience was great.

Have been meaning to try this place for a long while. Finally got around to booking a table for a date night. The service was truly excellent, felt very well looked after. But the food. 😍 We had the usual starters of pickle tray and poppadom assortment. And then onto main course.Typically my experience of curries has been that they can be a bit greasy or oily, but not here. I had the chicken karahi and it was simply so fresh and yummy that I basically licked the bowl clean. Portions were great. My partner and I shared a rice and bread. We left feeling a good level of full. A really great experience. Will be returning.

We chose to have our wedding meal and evening food by Urban Choola - we feel incredibly lucky and so pleased we chose Urban Choola.As an indian couple, it was important to find an authentic restaurant. Anurag the owner was exceptional - he took tremendous time, care and thought in helping us choose a great menu at a reasonable price. He was incredibly patient - over a year of planning during the covid rollercoaster we did food testing four times and had numerous conversations. He took the time to see 99 Mary Street and go through the delivery for the evening too.We requested to have the menu more suited to our taste which his team did to an excellent job. Vishnu's team served us for the lunch who was absolutely fantastic. Anurag allowed us to put our own stamp on the decoration which was so kind. Everything arrived on time with stunning flavours and plenty to enjoy! Urban Choola also provided a fantastic evening Indian street food at 99 Mary Street. We are over the moon how well Urban Choola delivered and we would highly recommend to any couple looking to have Indian food for their special day / event! Absolutely fantastic. The food is very delicious and the staff their service is excellent and fast, there is privacy and this is really amazing, and also the decor is beautiful, thanks 😋
