Just got home from a stunning stay at Whitley Hall Hotel; romantic break away turned luxury. The staff are all friendly, accomodating and generous with their time. The food was outstanding, with visible thought and expertise put into the presentation a flavour train. We had a cute room with garden and pond view, plenty of appliances available for outfit preparation. Breakfast was efficient and simple, but still delicious. We thoroughly look forward to visiting again. Unfortunate weather and a long car journey have made a 2-night stay a must.

Attended a wedding recently room in the Parker suite the room was beautifully decorated, staff very efficient and the food was delicious! My only criticism was the bar prices. The sign on the wall stated £5.75 for San Miguel but the till charged £6.25. My husband challenged it and was told the prices had gone up 2days ago. When I went to the bar I noticed a price list in the wall but also one propped up at the side with £5.95. still not the £6.25 being charged. Being a guest at the wedding I didn't feel it appropriate to call in the manager and the bar staff were all young and it wasn't their fault but I feel this needs addressing.

We had our wedding here at the beginning of January and the wedding itself was lovely, Hannah did an amazing job and was very good at her job. The service running upto the big day however was awful. There's no communication from them, emails not answered, could never get through to the wedding team and they rarely returned voicemails. Our wedding planner was pretty much non existent, we saw her once and spoke to her once on the phone that was it through the whole thing from the day we booked it until the day of the wedding, she wasn't even there. The staff did an amazing amazing job of decorating the rooms everything looked beautiful 😍 the dj wasn't great either, we didn't hear anything from him until 4 days before the wedding and even then he didn't plan all the requested songs. He played everything from a laptop and wasn't even present for most of the evening, didn't say anything except to Introduce the first dance but there was music playing and everyone was dancing so it was just a bit flat in terms of talking to everyone getting them up and dancing etc bit rubbish considering what we paid. The breakfast the following day was a bit meh, only allow 2 bacon 2 eggs etc even if you didn't one thing you couldn't have more of something else. A continental would have better. The staff running rhe day were great though, all went smoothly so overall not to bad 😀

Terrible stay at this hotel, we have been before with no problems but will never come back. We stayed in the main building which is in need of TLC. The shower was unusable, there was no pressure at all. The walls are too thin - you can literally hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms (plugging in of devices, boiling kettles, coughing, talking, tv) which kept us awake until midnight and from 6.30am. The cleaners directly underneath were cleaning at 2.30am which woke us up. Had we not have had a drink the night before we would have been driving home at 2.30am! We tried to ring reception at this time to complain and ask for another room, to find our phone didnt even work. We had to go down to reception in our pjamas in the middle of the night, the night staff couldnt have cared less and didnt even apologise about the experience, all they could say was thery were fully booked so there was no where else for us to go. We were so disappointed with the stay. It definitely wasnt the relaxing stay we were looking for!

Lovely place and accommodation. Only fault I can make is the outdoor area should be cleaned as it doesn't look well when the bride's dress gets heavily soiled in the peacock poo.

My sister's wedding and have to say that the place is amazing. Staff were lovely and the food was stunning. The rooms are really comfortable, though if you want a coffee you'll need to look in the wardrobe for the kettle et al. Briefly saw the wedding suite and Wow, that is something really special. A brilliant place, highly recommended.

Lovely place for a wedding, lovely food and service. Beautiful surroundings. Had a great day at my Nieces wedding, only downside was the price of the drinks

Stunning venue. Was here for a wedding and it was beautiful. The grounds are so pretty and we were lucky enough to see one of the peacocks. The food was delicious and there was plenty of space to hold guests during quieter parts of the day.

Lovely peaceful place to relax. Staff are lovely. Alcohol is expensive which you can expect really. Food is second to none. We've been going for the last 6yrs. We love it there.

This was a fantastic wedding venue. Great ambience and aesthetics on a clear and visual day. The staff are professional and very helpful, and they provided two bars to keep lines short. From what I understand, the bride had a bit of difficulty with them taking food away in the evening, but this was sorted very quickly. All around, a good place to have a wedding!
