Yo Sushi - Meadowhall Sheffield in Sheffield

Food was delicious! Don’t normally go for foods like sushi due to me not liking fish as much but there was plenty to choose from.You have me as a customer for life! Highly recommend.

Nothing special. If you are looking for authentic Japanese flavour this will be disappointing experience as the place is focused on "European Japanese" version of sushi. You will find a lot of mayo and crispy onions, the wasabi is made of horseradish and the hot dishes taste more like KFC....

Wonderful place very clean and friendly staff generally a 5 star experience but what really made this experience was Georgia's service she helped me decide what sushi to order as I have never had it before and also was just generally kind and welcoming to the wonderful world of sushi.Many more visit to come to this yo sushi 👊

Good service, never a complaint about this place. As much as I miss the conveyer belt of food, the order on my phone is quite good. Quick service also, food for two (6 dishes) was in and out in about 45mins. It can be pricey but it's good for it's money, and it's expected.

The staff get a 5/5. Only reason why I have given it a 4 is ordering on the mobile app lacks the previous experience in dining in. The special deal menu changed mid way ordering so it made me place the incorrect order! The staff refunded me back but I felt slight handed cause I lost out and paid more than I had too in comparison to before so hope this FYI helps others avoid the same issue. Overall it's still one of the best Sushi you can ask for and hoping once these restrictions finally end Yo Sushi can revive pre- restrictions period :)

Clean and well maintained tables. Smiley friendly staff were polite and helpful. Easy to order through app with food arriving in good time to our table along the conveyor belt. Would have preferred glasses instead of plastic tumblers for drinks as although they were clean they appeared marked, most likely from the washing process.

Queue was very long so we didn’t bother. Also there’s no food to pick off the conveyor bow you just order online so that’s rubbish too.

This used to be one of my favourite places but since covid and the massively reduced menu it's very average. Hope that it eventually goes back to how it used to be where you pay for your plates and have greater choice of food

A favourite of mine! Always tasty food, quick service and helpful staff. More expensive than most sushi places but in my opinion, worth it

I would give this a -5 star rating if I could. The food here (Meadowhall) was absolutely atrocious. The service was awful too - both the waiter and waitress did not bother to acknowledge me until I was frantically waving my hand in the air. Absolutely terrible and expensive. I highly do not recommend anyone to eat here - you can definitely get much tastier foods for a lower/same price. The sushi quality has definitely worsened - if you look at the below image, you can see that the sushi is extremely thin, yet it is still the same price and you still get the same no. of pieces on a plate/in a pack. I understand that it is hard on businesses due to the pandemic, and saving as much money on expenses may be one way to survive; HOWEVER, this is not an excuse for the poor food and service!
