Akash Lounge in Wakefield

Definitely a Five Star Review! Akash are serving better dishes than their competitors by far. Exceptional food & great attentive service. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic food as always. This is the best Indian restaurant in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

First class service from Ali as usual. Excellent food from a comprehensive menu. One of our favourite restaurants.

Really nice food and service. Definitely recommend 👌

We came up from the south to visit my mum for Christmas. We had the Xmas Day set menu, booked in for 2pm but moved to 1pm. Spotlessly clean place. Food was one of the best curries we've had. Did get busy but everyone distanced well enough. Didn't get our desserts or coffee after almost an hour waiting but we were chatting and drinking so didn't really mind (and had cake at home to be fair). Did seem short staffed for the amount of people booked in so may have been overlooked. Did also seem, in hindsight, that we didn't have our deposit taken off after paying £60 over for a few drinks and 3 extra poppadoms but that was our fault for not checking the bill properly, we were caught out as only taking cash so we were trying to find cash between the group. Was still a lovely meal and was just nice to be with family again

Wonderful food good service. Friendly staff excellent value. Would recommend 👌

Very rude also check your food bill as he adds money on there absolutely shocking food not worth going again. Disappointed and just wants to take your money

Absoloutley fantastic food, brilliant staff, well looked after,.support your local business ,go for a fantastic night out. Covid has damaged a lot of small businesses, give them the support and help to keep them going.you need to try the fantastic food . 5 stars all the way
