The food in this restaurant is first class.

Love this place, my daughter is celiac and so long as she doesn't eat the bread products she's fine, we order from here so the time

Food very nice, as a table of 5 we all ordered different things and everyone said the food was nice. Reasonably priced although half price due to covid. 1 star deducted as part of a friend's meal, the chicken was slightly undercooked. Otherwise nice place with friendly staff on hand. Would go again.

ordered a takeaway and not impressed at all. the pilau rice looked and tasted odd. the lamb bhuna wasn't tasty at all and also didn't look like the usual Indian food we have had over the years.. The naan bread tasted more like a pancake..it's as if old oil was used to make the meal. And just as we were ready to bin it found a massive piece of eggshells in the biryani rice.. Never again. Just didn't look appetizing and after taking a couple of bites decided not to eat.. 28£ gone to waste..

The worst curry I ever had.Where do I start! The best part of the meal was the pickle tray. Popodums were stale and oily, mixed starter was very over cooked and dried out, lamb chop was so dry and had a texture of a beef jerky.Curry was bland with very little meat, pataks jarred curry tastes better. Naan bread was like a shop bought pizza base. Never again!!!

Not very keen on eating in the restaurant. Always test better ordering as take away from just eat for some reason. This visit my chicken was very dry and I didn't get much of a lamp chop. However. Chips wher the only things I enjoyed. My step dad said his was also not very warm when arrived. Will not be eating in restaurant but ordering take away as bazarly better quality

**Would have been 5 stars if not for service of just one gentleman!! **Amazing food as always last night in the restaurant. As regular visitors we have a taste card and always check if its acceptable (days, bank Holidays etc) Tried to use it last night and all fine with waiter. Then another Gentleman came saying couldn't be used. I asked him to show me where it said so and he couldn't so next excuse was we didn't book even though it was empty!! Basically they put profit over customer service and its a shame as they've never been anything other than polite and helpful. By no means ruined the evening as food was exceptional but this gentlemen should treat customers more politely especially regular visitors

Orderd a mild dish and it was so spicy couldnt feel my lips. Had 2 ask twice for water, didnt get offerd desert or coffee and no table coths or any table decoration to make it feel anything other than a caffee. Wont be back

We love Al Jamils its a great family resteraunt. Child friendly and the food is gorgeous. We were introduced by friends and have loved it ever since. Never had a bad meal and the prices are really competative. Great bunch of lads well done, the place is a credit to you.
