Very nice meal staff really helpful and friendly will definitely be going back.

It’s the First time we Have had a Roast Dinner Delivered from Barnsley Oak Pub and I must say it was one of the Nicest Dinner We have had every thing was Cooked to Perfection We Will surely be ordering again Complements to the Chef and all concerned

Good food, great staff and good atmosphere.

First visit here, unfortunately was a wake for my cousin so was a private functionStaff very friendly. My biggest concern is the lack of disabled facilities, infact there aren't any!!!. Entering the door was horrendous, a manual ramp was put down but at a very steep angle, struggled to get wheel chair in as door narrow also. No disabled toilet, my mum was In agony trying to use the facilities as toilet so low, she needs help with the loo so couldn't close door..how embarrassing for her. The doors are difficult to open had to rely on others at wake to help. Will not be visiting again

Had Steak Ale and mushroom pudding with mash and veg. It was really nice and tasty. Staff well presented and polite. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Inexperienced Staff no one even came to our table to take our order I had to grab them.Overpriced for the food we had got My Chicken burger was just breaded from Asda 🤔 My fiancé Chicken was so tiny and her salad I had to give her mine wasn't enough 🙄 won't be returning 🤨

Been to the barnsley oak a few times now, seems to be better each time. Extremely friendly, polite and helpful staff, fantastic food at great prices and a lovely dining atmosphere and experience. Had the mighty mixed grill this time around... wow, absolutely amazing and quality food, and there were loads on the plate. Beautiful!!

Had a beautiful meal here tonight, mixed grill was brilliant, Hunter chicken for the son in law, steak for the daughter and roast dinner for the wife. Everything was well cooked & plenty my of it, the highlight though is the staff they were all friendly, attentive and very pleasant. We will call again. Used to live in south Elmsal 35 years ago and there’s been different ones here but it definitely has to be the best it’s ever been. Well done guys. You well deserved the five stars, and the tip 😉
