Bella Italia in Wakefield

Pleasant restaurant quiet when we ate but it was early. Menu a bit limited but enough to choose something from. There's a 2 Course Set Menu for £14.95 and a 3 Course Set Menu for £17.95 as well as the normal Menu, served by pleasant, polite and attentive staff. We'd gone as an early birthday treat for my wife, I mentioned this at the time of ordering the pre meal drinks but got little or no response which was a bit disappointing.

Alright food but expensive for what it was. Booked a table for 5 and it was empty inside and was told the table would have to be put together and we would need to wait whilst this happened. Luckily only four of us were coming so we were seated right away. It was incredibly hard to get the attention of the servers as we had no drinks on our table for 25 minutes after finishing the first ones. Eating pasta without a drink ruined it a little bit as the pasta sauce was salty.Quite disappointed as this was my first visit to Bella Italia and I don’t think I will go again.Nice enough staff and nice decor but really hard to get noticed despite calling excuse me a few times.

Our pleasant experience abruptly ended when the server became confrontational about using our Cineworld discount card, despite us making her aware of our intention to use before placing our order.When she became irrational and hostile we asked to speak to the manager.Luke resolved the situation with minimal fuss and an abundance of apologies for the behaviour of his staff.We’ll save ourselves the drama next time and eat somewhere else.

Fantastic service from Luke and the food was great too! We enjoyed the set menu which was great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Kids loved it, I wasn't as keen, seems to taste a bit bland lately and not the best cocktails. Overall pretty average and over priced for what you get but we had a nice time and the staff where really nice.

Served by Tai. He was great, very attentive, polite and made sure our food & cocktails arrived quickly. Everything lovely - as good as some non chain restaurants. Will come again!

Popped in here to try the tiramisu and starter, the starter was a black truffle gnocchi. Both were great, quick and friendly service. Quality was what I expected of this chain. Very good service from my server Amalia, very fast polite and asked me straight away about any allergies. Black coffee was a little bitter though.

Nice food, lovely staff. Was very quiet but it was a Thursday night. Enjoyed what we ordered (party of 4)

Hadn't planned to visit Bella Italia was a last minute decision after my sons football game got cancelled. Food was amazing and Ceres is an amazing member of staff. She regularly checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our food and engaged in conversation with us, very polite and made us feel very comfortable. If you asked me to name a fault with Bella Italia I'd say not a chance. We will definitely be coming back again soon!!! Thank you Ceres and the rest of the staff for a wonderful experience. See you all again soon.
