Bella Italia Castleford in Wakefield

Fantastic service from Luke and the food was great too! We enjoyed the set menu which was great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Served by Tai. He was great, very attentive, polite and made sure our food & cocktails arrived quickly. Everything lovely - as good as some non chain restaurants. Will come again!

Popped in here to try the tiramisu and starter, the starter was a black truffle gnocchi. Both were great, quick and friendly service. Quality was what I expected of this chain. Very good service from my server Amalia, very fast polite and asked me straight away about any allergies. Black coffee was a little bitter though.

Ate here on 2nd January. Service was great, my friends pasta dish was lovely apparently. However, the pizza was definitely the worst I have ever had. It was like a cheap asda range. Dry, thin, tasteless and small.I didn't complain at the time as it was my friends choice and I didn't want to spoil it for him. I certainly won't be visiting again. I thought it odd that this was the only eating establishment that was half empty. I now know why.Sorry Bella Italia.

Came to Bella Italia in Castleford for a meal on New Years Eve and it was absolutely amazing the food was fresh and the staff are a credit to the business. Alex was our server for the night and she did her utmost to look after us and be attentive even when the venue was short staffed, would highly recommend to anyone!

Served by Alex this evening. Had Mushrooms for a starter, asked for Garlic on them which were delicious. After asking about Pizza she recommended her favourite choice which was perfect.My wife chose the Fish balls and Pollo pasta which she enjoyed thoroughly.A great experience.

The food overall was expensive considering what we got and while the service staff were friendly they seemed to forget that we had ordered dessert. We came with a 6 year old who is quite hard to please with food and they didn't mention upon entry that they had no cheese sauce left for the kids menu which meant that all in all our child ate about one bite of garlic bread as she didn't like the bolognese sauce they subbed in for cheese.My starter was over salted, my main was small but decent and my side of fries had a pile of salt on top which i had to brush off for them to be edible. Dessert; when it eventually arrived, was good and 3 drinks cost a tenner. Over £60 for this meal seems a tad too much but I will say that I've had better meals here in the past and hope they return to their higher standards.

Hadn't planned to visit Bella Italia was a last minute decision after my sons football game got cancelled. Food was amazing and Ceres is an amazing member of staff. She regularly checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our food and engaged in conversation with us, very polite and made us feel very comfortable. If you asked me to name a fault with Bella Italia I'd say not a chance. We will definitely be coming back again soon!!! Thank you Ceres and the rest of the staff for a wonderful experience. See you all again soon.
