Bistro Restaurant at Campanile - Wakefield in Wakefield

Affordable, Humble and comfortable. Service and staff spot on. The full vegetarian breakfast was actually pretty good. Fantastic job

Very clean, cosy room with a comfortable bed, smart TV, very warm and quiet. It was very cold winter day and room was very warm, bathroom had a heat lamp as well , staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived much earlier than check in time . tired after 3hours train journey and we were given a room staright away. Highly recommend this comfortable hotel for asuper affordable price.

First impressions, after arriving at reception to check in only to be told that i couldn't use the restaurant or bar due to a private function, really think this should have been made clear when booking. Asked if they could point me in direction of my room and was told no as the receptionist wasn't usually at this branch so didn't no. Ok i'll just try and find it myself then. Now onto the room, now i wasn't expecting much, but it was like Butlins in the 70's, freezing cold room with a strange porch inside. Twin beds which were very soft and 1 double electrical socket, bathroom clean but dated. A bit noisy on a night with paper thin walls. Price was cheap and i did actually have a decent nights sleep.

Clean and tidy rooms, staff were pleasant, friendly and eager to please. Breakfast first class. Would not hesitate to book again. Excellent value for money.

Requested a picture of my favourite wwf wrestler. Upon arrival into the room I was greeted with the sweet sight of Kevin Nash. Great work from the campanile staff.Breakfast was decent and so was the price.

Lovely place to stay, room very clean. Bed is super comfy. Breakfast cooked fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside is could do with more plugs in room, only one plug socket in corner where kettle was plugged in and a very loose plug next to mirror opposite bathroom ( presume for hairdryer) could do with one beside the bed.

Decent motel,it's not the Hilton so we didn't expect as much!Rooms were tidy,bed very comfortable, could have done with a few more plug sockets, particularly around the bed, as there was one near the desk at the window,and a quite loose plug socket near the mirror near the bathroom, I assumed for a hair dryer.Shower was good,but the temp kept dropping slightly.Parking was good, breakfast,again,good..you were asked to fill in a breakfast menu upon your arrival,and approximate time you wanted it.Friendly service/staffJust watch out for the hgv's driving/parking on the approach road,as the motel's location is on an industrial estate.

Helpful staff, clean rooms and at affordable prices. Just needed somewhere to sleep, shower, park and it ticked all the boxes. Will use again.

Nice comfy bed and very quite. Slept really well. Staff friendly. The only downside I had was that the cleaning could be a bit better. I did speak to the staff as I was checking out and was assured that they would look into it. I will return and recommend it to friends and family.

Room was good, twin beds were comfy, bathroom clean and fine. TV worked, we had a kettle and tea etc was provided. Breakfast was the full monty and so all was great! Staff very helpful and friendly - we'd be happy to revisit in the future. Good value with location near to city centre - though the business park location may put off those without a car.
