Visited for the first time this morning (Saturday 12th February 2022) and I can comfortably say I won’t be returning. The farm shop is okay and is on par with any other normal farm shop in the Uk.We had brunch at the cafe and this was very disappointing. I had the small breakfast which portion wise was fantastic but the quality of the food and the cook was appalling not what I would expect from a farm shop. You would have a better quality meal from your premier inn breakfast.Overall I would not recommend someone to visit this farm shop.

Very busy when our party of four visited. Initially we were seated at a central table but were moved to a quiet area which was much better. We all enjoyed our meal 😋😋😋😋😋😋 and would DEFINITELY go again.

Had Sunday lunch beautiful produce well presented. Loved trio of puddings and cappuccino was lovely and hot. Small criticism food could have been a bit hotter but otherwise top class.

Excellent food and exceptional service from friendly staff. I was there for my birthday and with no asking or pre booking a desert with 'happy birthday' written in chocolate was brought as a birthday treat from the chef! Brilliant and thank you x

Christmas order ultimate cooked shellfish platter gammon pork pieLets go for the positive Dry cured gammon cooked superbly enjoyed by all.cranberry topped pound pork pie dry flat looked and tasted like id bought it off a cheap market stallultimate cooked shellfish platter £79.95 looked fab on the pics looked tired in real life luckily I had bought a beautiful side of salmon from sainsburys for £13.00 which poached was divine. The moral of this story dont be swayed by the pics you can get far better quality from sainsburys

Bought a hamper with a turkey crown royale for Xmas(2021), with a small ham and beef and several small fillers like a quiche and cheesecake etc.Got to say I feel conned. The turkey crown royale - well... The poorest effort which ruined the xmas dinner. At approx £50 in value - once we carved the crown it was over 50% stuffing with a sliver of turkey wrapped around it. So our stuffing with a small price of meat attached to it (which was dry due to been such a thin price of meat) went down well with the rest of out Christmas Dinner(not), never again... What a let down, you've gone down hill as our previous experiences have been good. The other things in the hamper were so so, and nothing I couldn't of got from a supermarket and a fraction of the cost, lost our trade... Very Poor

The food in the Barn Kitchen is lovely, but the staff often seem a bit run off their feet, it can take a long time for things to come. We've had a couple of lovely Sunday lunches but one that wasn't great, as it seemed they were just starting to run out of things - (flat crunchy roasties and not much veg). We did arrive quite late on that occasion (2pm), so I'd recommend booking earlier for the fresher stuff.

Great place. Very friendly, helpful staff despite it being busy. We enjoyed THE best spiced pumpkin soup-a generous portion serves with warm brown roll. Most enjoyable. Thanks.

A lovely place to visit, staff very friendly, food good quality but overpriced for the portion size. Chicken Caesar Salad...small for what it actually is. Surely £12 for this salad should be overflowing with lettuce and bigger chicken breast??Fries? 20 max in a small cup , surely £3 odd for fries should be in a larger dish?? Serve a decent portion size for the price you are asking.👍

Don't like posting negative reviews, but really felt short changed and disappointed here. There are always loads of cars in the car park and it always seems busy, so we thought we'd give it a go. The buildings and fresh goods were fine; I'm sure that the fact none of the customers seemed or were encouraged to be COVID aware was not the proprietors' fault. However, we bought two chicken and leek pies - £5.95 each and I think someone had forgotten to put the filling in. In the middle, the pie was half an inch thick! Dry as a bone! Twelve quid for some pastry and dried up chicken. Unfortunately, we also bought a cake and a loaf of bread for another tenner - they were dry too. It was a Saturday, was it old stock? If it wasn't so far away, I'd take it back. So disappointed.
