Amazing fish shop! I’ve been in wakey about a year now and only just recently moved to alverthorpe and saw this place so tried it! I was not disappointed!! Fish and chips is one of my favourite meals and I’ve struggled to find a place in Wakefield that I like, I’ve now found it and I’ll be back! Pleasant service, reasonable prices and everything was cooked fresh!Thank you guys! I will be back

Having used this shop for almost 5 years and being highly satisfied I am sorry to say I will not be using this shop in future. The past two weeks I have ordered fish and chips (a normal size) what has arrived is the smallest fish in the world, last weeks offering was so obviously a normal fillet cut in half yet the full price is charged. Such a shame, you need to look after your customers better and, to the fish fryer/owner please smile once in a while!!

Absolutely amazing tasting fish and chips cooked in beef dripping too!. New owners have really turned it around! Very generous portion sizes! Definitely going to be a new regular customer!

Fish was nice and cooked fresh. Thought the chips portion was extremely shady for a large portion, can't imagine what a small portion looks like. First time trying this place and most likely wont be back. £6.25 for Fish, large chips and medium mushy peas.
