Bollywood Lounge at Dimple Well Lodge in Wakefield

Staff couldn't have been nicer. We turned up at short notice with 3 dogs.had a lovely meal. Breakfast was great. Quaint but lovely building

Absolutely faultless, we all attended my partners, Aunty Joyce's birthday celebration. 🎂 Food flowed smoothly; everyone got what they pre ordered. It was lovely and hot and well presented. We had gorgeous tender roast beef fluffy golden roast potatoes, brocoli, and green beans. The gravy was tasty and plentiful to Finnish off we had sticky toffee pudding with custard, and my other half had the cheese cake with ice cream brilliant. There were about 25 of us, so as you can imagine, lots of different meals, stake pie was packed with tender meat, everyone said it was spot on from start to finish, drinks we lovely too and the kids meals were ample and tasty. Thanks to the lovely, hard-working staff made for a lovely gathering. 😀

Very friendly and helpful. Clean room with all the facilities you’d need for an over night stay. Breakfast was lovely.

Very nice and helpful staff only complaint was the rooms where very gold and noticed a lot of damp batches in bar area, needs a redecoration I think

First time visiting Dimple Well Lodge and was impressed. Very tasty vegetarian lunch and my colleagues in Rotary had meat and potato pie which they said was very nice.The hotel is set in a lovely garden where guests can sit out. There is also a fairly large car park too.

The cleanliness, or lack of, was dreadful. I came back from a long shift at the local hospital to find hairs in both the sink and the bed. Also, when walking past the restaurant I noticed that the tables hadn't been cleaned despite the restaurant being empty. The stairs leading up to my room clearly hadn't seen a hoover in a while. To top things off, the room that I was 'upgraded' to had cobwebs all over the ceiling. This place is listed as a 4 star hotel on Google, how they can legally make this claim is beyond me. It also bills itself as a wedding venue, I pity the couple that chooses this place to mark the beginning of their lives together. However, if you fancy someone else's hairs in your bed on your wedding night then it's as good a place as any!

Ive been working away for 10 years now, this has to be the best accomodation that Ive stayed in. Rooms are furnished to a very high standard, beds really comfy, good size tv, hot shower. Food is very good staff can't do enough to help you, free parking

Well what can I say , just had our wedding reception here . Absolutely lovely , Marcus , Sally and staff are very accommodating , nothing too much trouble even during the little hiccups along the way . Beautiful surroundings and excellent food oh and a quaint complimentary cottage . Highly recommend this venue

I had booked a family room, my booking had been confirmed for 3 days. 6 days before i was due to stay at this establishment, i had a call from the hotel. They asked me "Are you staying with members of your house hold?" to which informed them i would be staying with my brothers. The next question "How old are your brothers ?", to which i informed them we are all over 25 year and over. I found this all unusual, to which the staff member then told me they had actually have someone that wants the room for a wedding, so i can't have it anymore. They could give me a double bed and a single bed, to which i said no, we are siblings, we don't want to share a bed. To which i was told, he has no other options, he would have to cancel our booking.I'm outraged, and disgusted. How can you turf someone out and cancel their booking because they must of managed to find a better deal for themselves, and charge a higher rate to the wedding party. I am now left with the stress of finding somewhere else to stay with late notice. The staff member was rude, unhelpful, dismissive and i think it's appalling that the questions at the begining of the conversation were obviously just a feeble ploy to try and cancel our reservation without admitting the true reason. I would not recommend to anyone

Absolutely over the moon! My Wife and I had our reception here yesterday, and I can't stress enough how accommodating and friendly the staff were during our time here.The food provided not just during the main meal, but also the canapés and the evening buffet were extremely well recieved by our friends and family.Genuinely lovely experience, and we cannot recommend Dimplewell enough.
