Calder and Hops in Wakefield

Had a lovely curry with my hubby yesterday really tasty and great value, the service was great and our food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. The staff at the bar were helpful and friendly and the waitress Olivia was so nice, compliments to the chef Micheal who is also the Manager and always gives a warm welcome. Will definitely be back next week

I had a lovely Saturday afternoon at the Calder and Hops. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely my favourite pub to catch up with friends. They have also accommodated our Xmas parties over the last few years catering for over 30 people and they were amazing. Thank you x

Edit: came here last week to meet up with a couple of old friends and it’s still as friendly as ever. Staff are great, especially a young girl named Morgan, she’s an asset to the pub! Will not hesitate to stop by here again when I’m in the area :)

Just been in the pub with my work mates for some food we have tryed the new menu. It was really nice. the staff behind the bar are so nice friendly and helpful . Can't wait to come again.

Olivia was a very welcoming and friendly member of staff when I visited Calder and hops. She worked very hard to ensure my experience was more than exceptional and made sure all my needs were met. Will definitely be visiting again soon and will recommend to my friends and family thank you liv!

Came in yesterday for a light bite and a couple of drinks, staff (i unfortunately didnt ask for their names but was a young girl and boy) were very quick to help, constantly smiling and were open to chat while they were making my drinks. Food was lovely, had a salad and some chips and i honestly couldnt fault either. Cant wait to return

visited for lunch on 10.03.22. Very nice and tidy pub , clean toilets and friendly staff.Food was fantastic sausage and mash and hunters chicken was spot on and great value and we had few cocktails 🍸 not bad selection . Will be back soon when we are in Wakefield again

Came to Wakefield for The Rhubarb Festival and came here for lunch. Lovely pub, very clean and friendly staff . A little wait but the pub was very busy. Could see they was short staffed but they did their best. Will be visiting again hen we here next.

Great place to stop and have a drink while your shopping in Wakefield or later to have a night out with friends!!!!!

Come here very regularly with family and friends and always a great night. Friendly staff, safe environment, clean and tidy. Drink options very reasonably priced and good selection. Eat here on occasion too and always enjoyed it. Personal favourite is the Hunters Chicken. Staff always ensure we are looked after especially Michael the manager.
