Casey's Fish in Wakefield

Yummy, missed my Yorkshire fish and chips

Though great tasting, food was a little greasy. I went there today as I was very near by and would certainly do that again if very close to it, however not, in my opinion, the best in Ossett.

Fish was cooked fresh but chips were hard and most went in the bin.

Had Fish and chips and was gorg !! Really enjoyed and the fish was Huge, the chips cooked to perfection...will be back :)

Don't think I should tell people how great the fish n chips are and the other items on the menu how lucky the locals are I drove over 200 miles can't wait to go back

Normally can't knock the food from here and it usually would get four or five stars but tonight the fish cake was overcooked, the batter was hard and too much, I ended up throwing most of it away. The sausage was similar, but once I'd broken the batter off, it was ok. Big let down for me especially as the bit I did eat is weighing heavy in my stomach. Not a good night.

I used to love their light crispy batter, but I called on Thursday 19th August and got a lunchtime special.Well I'm sorry to say the batter was absolutely dreadful. It was so thick and chewy I couldn't get the knife through it, and even my pooch turned her nose up at the battered sausage I got for her 😩

just had fish, chips mushy and B sausage.PLEASE DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE AREA, CASEYS IS HEAVEN, pure quality and 2 really nice ladys too!this is maddies Boyfriend haha!Best chippy in a 20 mile radius!

First time visiting this fish shop on Wednesday evening after work, I can honestly say it was the best fish & chips Iv had in a long long time! Friendly staff, very fair prices, and good portion control! When I’m next in Wakefield I will be sure to call in again.Thanks 10/10🤩
