Crown Carvery The Prince William in Wakefield

Me& my family visit Prince William quite often for Sunday dinners and desserts. Outstanding customer service and amazing food.Massive thanks to Shelley for her hard work and fresh ice cubes not them frozen 1s :-)Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have never ever had a bad meal here, we come regularly and the food and service is always absolutely fantastic. A special thank you to Caroline as she is usually on shift when we come for breakfast and she is an absolute star! So friendly, nothing is too much trouble for her, we are always happy to see she is on when we come. Highly recommend the Prince William, food is absolutely beautiful and fresh and really reasonably priced.

I love this place, another BP Pulse rapid charging station for my car and a warm welcome with no expectations inside. Chef is very friendly and all the staff here are most helpful 10/10 borderline 11 👍

Initially was sat in the function room but it was set out like a canteen and not exactly inviting.We got moved into the main pub area which was much better. Carvery was ok. Lots of things running out but was replenished quickly. Ordered dessert that took half an hour to come which wasn't great. It's a shame because it's normally really good here but last couple of times we've had this experience.

Lauryn was a fantastic server and host, she made our visit to the restaurant a brilliant night. Food was lovely and tasty. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for looking after us on celebrating my husbands birthday meal. Thank you Lauryn for looking after us.

Visited today for a roast. Staff are very helpful and can’t do enough. The carvery lad is very polite. Served by Lauryn on the bar, brilliant customer service and efficient. Overall very happy and will be returning.

We had a family visit here. The carvery was delicious, especially the ham. Generous portions of delicious food. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great spot.

We used to love coming here for the food but unfortunately have been disappointed in the last couple of visits.Long wait for food(45 mins for a pizza!) which was luke warm, not all meat and vegetables available on the carvery and unfilled condiments.Staff shortages was the explanation given. No complaints about the staff currently working there but surely you could advise diners that there's a wait for food (10 min stood in a queue waiting for a carvery is not ideal, watching the hot food go cold)

Booked in for festive menu, did expect it all to be table service but the main course was carvery. Given that the place was very quiet service was a bit slow, even when we had finished there was no one to bring us the bill so we had to go to the till so we could pay before leaving.
