Eastern Court in Wakefield

The food was nice, we had our table booked for 8.30pm Saturday.. we had just got our deserts when the staff at 9.15 started bleaching the tables and mopping the floors, I do not like the smell of beech.The staff seemed to be rushing us, and whipped every empty plate away from us.. staff stood around watching..I felt uncomfortable... we have spent over £80 .. won't be returning.

Attended last night at around 19:00, it wasn't too busy and had a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and all piping hot, unlike some buffets I've been to in the past. There was a nice range of food which was clearly allergen labelled. Good selection of desserts as well, which included a chocolate fountain and an ice cream machine. I would definitely recommend and will likely be visiting again.

Enjoyable evening. I went on a Sunday tea time and the place was super busy so a 15 min wait was put in place before you could receive a table. Food was fantastic and the highlight was a waitress with a pushbike bell on her trolley bringing fresh hot food to the plate 🙏

Very clean and friendly restaurant. And all you can eat buffet and the food was delicious. Every food item we tried was cooked perfectly. You cannot fault the cleanliness of the establishment.

Love that you pay on entry and don't have to wait around for a bill at the end. Drinks order was taken at the entrance and brought out quickly. The staff were fab and even discounted our toddler as hes only small. The buffet has a good range (although some of the fried foods had dried out a little under the heat lamps). The dessert buffet bar was great with options for everyone. Would definitely come back again

Food is tasty and staff very efficient and helpful. But there policy on the way they charge for children is scandalous. My 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter were mm over 1.5m and made to pay adult price. If they would of took there shoes off it would of been child price. My 4 year old, who doesn’t really like Chinese food was pretty much stalked to make sure she didn’t eat anything and the options for toddlers are non existent. They need fairer pricing and I won’t go back unless this changes.

Nice selection of Chinese food, though not great, so hopefully you'll find something you like eating and just keep filling your plate. Cutlery should have been cleaner, had to pick out 5 dirty spoons by the soup, before I found one clean enough to use.

Food here was quite nice for a buffet. The price was pretty good. The selection of mains starters and sides was impressive. They had very helpful little cards by each food listing potential food allergies which was helpful for my dad who's allergic to crustaceans, unfortunately they too small for him to read. So only one star lost due to that issue.

It's used to be my best place for a family dinner ..... Unfortunately my last visit was ... the last one. I've found pieces of raw chicken skin in my dish and variety of some dishes tastes exactly same . The staff is extremely friendly and doing amazing job but the main cook must be replaced.... I hope one day it will be great again as it's used to be

Food was excellent. It was extremely busy but I suppose that's to be expected New Year's eve. Everything was fresh and clean environment makes it a more relaxed atmosphere during these scary times, all staff wore masks and were very attentive.
