Golden Dragon in Wakefield

Absolutely love this Chinese! Myself and my partner had used another Chinese for years, as we were very happy with it. However, we were recommended The Golden Dragon and we haven't used the other one since. Absolutely gorgeous everytime!! We love the Special Chow mein with salt and pepper chips. What we love is the veg in the chow mein as well as the meat, as not many places have the lovely veg in it. We recommend this Chinese to our neighbours, who I'm pleased to say.....love it as much as we do.

Food is absolutely delish, I've had various dishes and the 'munchie box' which is amazing! (different sizes available). Also, the salt and pepper ribs are something else. Opening times may differ due to current lockdown, so call and check first. Where possible, order ahead. Social distancing procedures in place.

Not bad food wish the curry sauce was a little more hot .

Just had our first delivery from here and it was great! The lady who took the order on the phone was very professional, friendly and helpful.The delivery came exactly on time, the driver was nice and friendly too.The food was lovely. Piping hot and obviously freshly cooked. The portion sizes were fab .... enough left for a quick zap in the microwave tomorrow!Would definitely recommend the Foo Young ..... it seemed to contain a dozen eggs! And the Special Chow Mein was great too ....very 'special' ..... thank you Golden Dragon, we'll see you again soon xxx

I rang and was put on hold, for them to then hang up. The beef was like rubber, blk bean sauce was like salt and no prawn crackers

Really nice local takeaway. The food is very good and is probably the best Chinese around Wakefield.

Awful. I have yet to find a decent Chinese takeaway in this area and I was hoping this would be it. Evidently not. Noodles were dry and stiff. Chicken satay was like wallpaper paste. Salt and pepper chips tested chalky like they had been cooked and reheated. Don’t bother.
