Booked for Sunday lunch. Booked table ahead.Welcome was prompt and friendly and shown to our table. Drinks order was taken promptly and very friendly.Food order was taken promptly and again another friendly staff member.Starters of Prawn cocktail and Carrot & corriander soup arrived and plenty in each serving. Excellent starter.Main course of Sunday lunch, one Beef and one Pork arrived and looked fantastic! Lovely meat on each plate, roast potatoes, mash and Yorkshire pudding. Tray of veg was on the side, carrots, cauliflower cheese and mix of green beans peas and cabbage.The main course was delicious.We couldnt fit a pudding in as we were both full.In summary, great staff, welcoming pub with fantastic food.

Lovely venue tucked out of the way. Looks tiny on front but opens out to a huge garden and three pods at the back. A marque is also open with comfy sofas and throws. Sfatt helpful and friendly. We booked a pod and had table service a bonus as it was so busy. I can see why. Fabulous place we will be back.

great pub, good food, great service. really been done up a lot during lockdown. nice outdoor areas bars and little domes for private parties too. friendly and welcoming service. nice views over the countryside/local farm

One of the best beer gardens I have been too

An absolute stunning little pub with beautiful beer gardens, I've used to frequent here on a regular basis when i lived in Tingley, ... and it really is worth a visit if your in the area.

Visited this pub on Saturday for the first time. It won't be the last. The outdoor area is great... tables, pods, marquees etc. The settees made for a relaxing atmosphere. We arrived at opening time and it began filling up around 1pm. We had a variety of lovely sandwiches which came with proper chips and a small side salad. The staff were very friendly and so were the dogs that were there. There is a saying that the state of the toilets reflect what a place is like. These were very clean ! It's an ideal location for family gatherings as there is plenty of space and it's only a few miles from the M! and M62.

This was my first visit with my partner Gail.What a fantastic pub, the beer garden is exquisite, you can hire pods at reasonable rates, the staff are friendly and polite and Michael was a delight. Try it it is so 😎 cool.

Another delicious lunch and in beautiful surroundings. The jacket potato menu here is so different 😋 you can have the traditional or go for one of their specials. BIG BONUS - fits perfectly with Food Optimising at Slimming World 👌😍

My girls brought me here for mother's Day, it was a big surprise going round the back to discover a beautiful outdoor area. We chose the undercover sofas.We enjoyed it so much that my youngest daughter asked to go back for her birthday with 3 of her friends. The staff were really lovely and accommodating. My daughter sat at the same undercover sofa while me and hubby sat in the garden where we enjoyed the lovely views. Food really nice, we had outdoor baked pizzas and beef and gravy sandwiches.
