Lovely little British Brasserie restaurant based in the centre of Wakefield, serving well-presented, fine dining cuisine, giving classic dishes a bit of a twist. Gorgeous flavour combinations, very smart venue and good service to be expected here.

Lovely restaurant small and cosy. Really friendly staff. Food was excellent, had the sea bream very fresh and lemon possett for dessert was delicious . Will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere, average/good food but some badly positioned tables, mediocre service and inexperienced staff. I.e forgot to provide plates for shared starters, steak knives and generally seemed to lack confidence. Probably wouldn't go again but glad we tried it once.

We have had a few home meals from Iris and this was the best. Absolutely awesome. And when this is up again we will order again. The only feedback back I would give is for some who might not venture into Indian food (or other as its always the same on the home meals) is the packaging is never marked up so you don't know what is what. Simple marker pen or other written on the individual packaging.Re this Mumbai Street food home meal it wasn't as spicy as I would have thought BUT understand the meal needs to cater for all. The herbs and spices used were outstanding. I've been to Goa a few times and took a trip to the diamond capital of India and this food brought back some amazing memories.As you can tell.....I will and do return.Update : 16th April 2021 - dabbled with the tapas menu.......lovely.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Friendly staff and food worth going for. I had the heritage beetroot followed by the Lamb rump and millionaire shortbread and all 3 courses was brilliant.
