Jose's Tapas Restaurant in Wakefield

My first time here but i will be returning. Monkfish with Serrano ham, prawns and mouthwatering cream sauce to die for!!! Every couse has been a taste sensation!!!! The staff are so friendly. Josès is amazing, cooking delightful meals and coming out and talking to customers, making customers feel like family. Love this place!!!

Our first visit. Fantastic. Portions were excellent size. Food flavours great. Service excellent. Wine great. Could not fault this place absolute quality.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. My favourite in Wakefield and vastly superior to its gaudy tapas rival on Wood Street.Best of all, you're guaranteed not to be sharing a restaurant with the obnoxious Anthony D and his party of ten.

Wow, first time we've been the flavours of the food were amazing. The tapas were a good size for 2 people compared to others. José and his staff were so friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you

Called in last night to make a booking for a later date, ended up sitting at the bar sampling some beautiful wine, bravas and croquettes. Food was delicious but what made the night so much more enjoyable was the company of the owner José and his wife Sophia. Such gracious hosts, absolutely blown away with their hospitality. Will 100% be back and recommend this place to ALL my friends and family.

It is a real shame to read a recent review of Jose’s with the gentleman in question giving them such a low score. Jose and his team put their heart and soul into everything they do and the food they produce is delicious. The have been operating a ‘booking only’ system for a while now as they are a small business. I can totally recommend them and love the attention to detail along with great customer service that comes along with the fab food. Thank you and keep doing what you do best 💓

Fantastic family run Spanish restaurant, the food is absolutely amazing ,I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Table for 4 £110 for 8 drinks and 12 Tapas dishes. Couldn't fault the food. Really tasty and definitely fresh. Staff were super attentive and added to the great experience. 10/10.

Beautiful tapas bar. Jose plays a mix role as waiter and chef. It cost us up to almost £100 for 3x people with 1 paint and 2x soft drinks, but worth the money paid
