Haven't been back in a while, food was decent, pickle tray was alright, mainly sauces - wished the chilli was were more pickles. The Korma was nice, the house Banglar Taste was rich and aromatic with chunks of chicken and lamb. The Naan was excellent BTW, crispy at base and pillowy on top... Just a little skimpy on the portion sizes IMHO, esp the rice and meat in the Banglar. Can't fault on the service tho, staff were excellent.

Just had a family meal here there were 4 of us and a little girl we all had starters and mains and both were very tasty and perfectly cooked hands down best curry I've had in the five towns area even gave my little girl some I've cream we will definitely be back.

Brilliant meal for our joint 50th birthday tonight with my twin brother and our families. The food was top notch, as usual. Sadly, we had a takeaway rather than eat in but because of Covid, we felt more comfortable having vulnerable people in our group. We will be back in the restaurant as soon as we can. Thanks for the wine. See you in 2022!!

My partner was very sick because of this place. Never go there again and the staff we got wasn't nice. They don't like people just drinking water. When we asked for water he was just sticking his nose up at it. We are not drinkers and the coke etc was a stupid price. Food wasn't great at all. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I'd recommend a visit from environment health instead. (This just added wanted to reply to response) self refer to environmental health. Is that after you have scrubbed everywhere and got rid of any out of date foods.

WOW WOW WOW!! Amazing food and great value, eat in or take away, great friendly staff, shuel and his team always make you feel welcome. Joy Bangla is a hidden gem. Been going here for years and no other place comes close. Can’t wait to go back to eat in when lockdown ends. 😋
