I attended my Brothers Wedding at Kings Croft and can highly recommend this hotel as an ideal Wedding venue! The staff were all great, the drinks weren't overpriced and the food for the Wedding was amazing especially the roast beef which is the best I've ever had!Special mention for Connor the Master of Ceremonies who at just 19 does an amazing job, he also must never sleep as I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and bumped into him morning, noon and night! For me the only slight fault I can give it is I found a rather sweaty smell in the corridor leading to my room but would I stay again?Absolutely 100%

We went to a private function at the King's CroftHotel recently. Very impressed with the grade2 listed building, looking splendid in it's own grounds. The pie and peas supper laid on wasexcellent with great service and generous portions.Looks like a wonderful wedding venue as the photos near reception clearly testify.A touch of class, and conveniently located.Recommended.

We've been to Kings Croft for many different reasons, from our daughters wedding , tribute nights, Christmas lunches as well as ordinary lunches and it never fails to impress. The quality of the rooms, friendliness of the staff and quality of food and drink. Sean, the owner is great, always welcoming and friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.

A group of us went to dinner on Wednesday night at 7 pm. We were told that we had to wait to be served for another 15 minutes, when then waitress came, I ordered a lasagne, only to be told, oh, we only serve them on a Thursday. I asked where on the menu that it stated this and I was told, it's a special service menu just for that day. Then I'm sorry but you need to word your menus more precisely. Out of principle I got up and walked out. I'm not being told that I'm a silly person for not looking at the menu. We all agreed that it was worded wrong. This is one person and my friends who will not be returning again. His arrogance holds no bounds. Didn't seem bothered that what we were trying to say was correct.,

Christmas dinner was delicious.Service was good ( although seemed a tad rushed )Stayed overnight in one of the bungalows. Room was spacious, clean and warm.Room had under floor heating, shower was ‘amazing ‘, bed comfortable, however the pillow slip kept coming off as the pillows seemed to have a plastic coating on them and so my face would stick to the pillow.Breakfast....Extremely disappointed in EVERY way.Breakfast was between 8-10, we got there at 9:20.. there wasn’t anyone to show us where we was sitting.. so I found someone who told us to sit and wait for a table to be cleaned... we waited.. & waited, finally I asked someone else who showed us a room and told us to take a seat...still had no idea and what we had to do.I went to the front where we had come in, there was a large table with very little on it and a toaster and hard bread...I asked a member of staff if we could get some hot water for making a drink as the pot was left empty...he brought one...I then had to ask for milk... orange juice... then cups as the table was was giving had one cup.. there was three of us.There wasn’t a selection of food on offer. Then was was asked how we would like our full English.. two had poached eggs ( although came boiled as they was over done ).It was cold.. bacon rock hard.. beans filled the HuGE plate.. and non of us ate it..After the lovely Christmas dinner we had the day before I was expecting something edible..Breakfast was a MASSIVE let down.I

Lovely venue and great staff. The grounds are breathtaking with the glass domes for indoor seating. We went for our work Christmas party and there was a Robbie Williams tribute act on and 3 course meal. Fantastic

Only stopped for a coffee, which, was nice, large & hot. Staff were polite and efficient. Interior decor a bit dated and ambient light low. Would possibly stay over if I was going to the races.

I had an amazing, early birthday, bottomless brunch yesterday, myself, two daughters & friends were sat in one of the beautiful outside pods & I can honestly say we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food & drinks were plentiful & cannot fault it. Would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to celebrate in a different way. Big thanks to Neil & Sarah, who looked after us working so hard & were very pleasant & professional throughout!

Attended a Wedding here, the venue was lovely for the actual wedding. The room was rather cool for the time of year. I wasn't overly impressed with the food to be honest. Not enough vegetables for each person & wasn't warm either. The evening food wasn't particularly dairy/gluten free either. Still it was lovely to spend time with family and friends ❤
