Great fish and chips... ring and order them, usually just coming out of fryer when I get there... so at least you know they have been cooked fresh for you and not been stood in warmer.

I decided to try this place out. Overall I found the fish and chips were very nice, but a bit on the expensive side. The prices are nearly as much as The Whetherby Whaler (take away) which surprised me as The Whaler is a much bigger establishment and has larger premises to pay for. This place is just a little shack out of town.The portion size was very good and apart from been a tad oily, I really enjoyed them.The owner seemed friendly and even took phone orders for people to collect later.Covid Restrictions seem a bit unorganised though and there didn't seem to be any instructions of how many people were allowed in the same shop at once. I think there should have been a 1 person max rule inside given how small it is.

Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Went previous to the new owners and it was poor but the chips yesterday were delicious, the right amount of crunch and the fish delightful.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or go again.Ten thumbs up.UpdateJust been again and it was just as nice. I don't know the secret of their chips but they're delicious.
