Lala's Restaurant Wakefield in Wakefield

Second visit to this restaurant, the first one the food was just OK but this time both dishes I had were excellent- tandoori prawns to start then tandoori chicken for main. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable.

The best Indian meal I have ever tasted in 20 years of eating this kind of cuisine. Food was cooked to perfection unbelievable flavours and presentation. 10/10 in every aspect.

Absolutely fantastic night with work colleagues.We ordered shared starters - that woyld be good enough as a mian meal, mains were beautifully plated and full of flavours. We had multiple beers, shots and simply enjoyed our time at Lala's.Great service, the host was fantastic - made sure all of us were kept looked after. Food was brilliant and the portions huge. I'll happily co me back.

An absolutely amazing Indian restaurant experience! The staff were so welcoming and accomodating to all our needs and the food was just top notch quality. I will definitely be coming back again.

We decided to order a family meal as a treat for Fathers Day tomorrow. We ordered through just eat. The meal arrived after about 40 minutes and that's where the service ended. 2 different types of chicken curry were ordered but nothing on the lid to say which was which. I ordered a prawn korma and got a tub of korma sauce with not a prawn in site. Phoned and got a replacement korma after 20 minutes but by then the rice was cold. Lalas was fantastic when it first opened and the restaurant may still be but their takeaway service leaves a lot to be desired as this isn't the first time I've had a problem. Won't be using again.

Came here today with my partner for his birthday. Ordered a korma for myself and partner had masala with pilau rice. Not too expensive, absolutely exquisite. Staff extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. Decor was lovely too

Absolutely fantastic every time I go. Food is always awesome, the best around and is the reason that my friends and I go.The staff are always lovely, even in the different branches in Batley and Huddersfield too. They always seem happy!While waoting for our friends to arrive, at Wakefield, the smartly dressed manager (I think) was helping a blind (had a white cane) gentleman gather his things by climbing under his table and helping him with his jacket, which I thought was going above and beyond. His partner was very grateful for the help: proper decent people.Excellent place - would highly recommend.

Cheeky Indian take away tonight. Biryani, chicken Puri and chicken rolls.I wouldn't bother with the rolls but everything else was incredible. Even the presentation was above the norm in a nice little bag.Good value and lots of flavour. The plate had almost no grease on it after eating which for me shows a great quality product.Definitely will be returning!
