I ordered the chunky pie mash and peas. The mash tasted like it had been there all day and only slightly warm and the same with the peas I only ate the pie which was the warmest on the plate

Used to be a nice cheap breakfast but it has drastically gone down hill. Ultimate breakfast £7? Couldn’t swap any items for anything and don’t even get toast with it but you do on the other ones? Nearly £20 for 2 breakfasts which were below average. Wouldn’t be in a rush to come back.

Once the best breakfast in town. Now you are lucky if you get all the items you pay for, cold food and toast in a bucket?,where am i meant to butter that? On your dirty table..I used to recommend but won't again. They put the price up too..Shocking

Staff were ok provided you even had a chance to meet one of them. The self service ordering system was poor not easy to use for first time customers, no user assistance for disable customers. When a screen ordering system is too complicated for a young customer who uses technology on a daily basis there is an issue. Had a full English breakfast. The hash browns were hard, couldn't cut them with a knife. The toast was cut diagonally which isn't usually an issue except each side was uneven so one half was very small compared to the other leaving you with a slim piece of toast and a big wedge showing how lazy the service was. The toast itself was thick, personally I prefer thin toast with my breakfast but this is down to personally preference. The sausages didn't resemble breakfast sausages whatsoever. They were like seasoned sausages you would see in the supermarkets oven fresh section. I would have expected butcher like sausages with my breakfast. The mushrooms were also whole with the stem left in, I understand different restaurants have their own twist on English breakfasts but unfortunately I prefer my mushrooms diced and prepped before hand. The tomatoes were the same was given half a tomato which had been fried on one side and was soggy on the other. This brings the question "where was the other half of my tomato and why aren't they using chopped tomatoes as seen with a traditional English breakfast"? The bacon was fine nothing special felt like chewing cardboard. The scrambled eggs were very bland no seasoning and resembled something microwaved. I had a milky coffee too which was identical to a cappuccino. When I ordered the milky coffee I was expecting a milky experience with a hint of coffee. Instead I received a bitter coffee taste. Overall negative experience food was poor and lazy and the service was the same staff kept out the way as much as possible and I would urge other to do the same.
