Olive and Meze in Wakefield

Booked here for my Dad’s birthday last week. The food is amazing! Definitely no complaints there. There were 14 of us so not exactly an easy table but the staff were so helpful, patient and lovely. Would definitely recommend and will be going again!!!

Fabulous place to eat. Went on Thursday evening and it was quiet.Met inside by our waiter Mehmet with a great greeting. Food served was plentiful if not a little too much for us. Really good flavours in the set meal for two and great value for a 3 course meal. I tried the Turkish coffee afterwards which I really enjoyed. All in the party of 4 had a great meal. Washed down with a couple of bottles of Yakut red and a glass of house wine. Yummy, it's a definite recommendation from me. Thoroughly enjoyable.Thanks to Mehmet and chef.

Ordered starter and main. Starter was delicious (Halloumi). Ordered Turkish Fajitas for main and it was so oily it was pretty much inedible. Didn’t get any check in from the waiter to see how the food was so unfortunately didn’t provide feedback at the time. I think the waiter struggled with English a little and so was avoiding too much conversation with customers?Either way, my partner’s food was really good and my starter too so not all bad!

Had a lovely meal here with family. We were well looked after and the food was really good. Lovely little place - we will definitely be coming back

Visited the restaurant on 20/11/21 for the first time. My wife had aubergine in tomato however it was ketchup (it looked and tested like that). I had the lamp kleftico which was tasteless and I think microwaved? Apart from this the service was very poor, one guy serving, cleaning, seating people and sorting out the bills. Maybe we were unlucky but on our experience it is one to miss.

The food was delicious! Probably one of the best lamb shish we’ve had. And service was impeccable. Will definitely be going again.

Fantastic food as always, great service. My cousin is vegan and thoroughly enjoyed her choice.

Lovely food and great service, couldn't fault anything we had. From the olives and warm bread appetiser, the falafel and houmous starter to the baklava, everything was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Highly recommend.
