Pizza Hut in Wakefield

It's ages since I've been into Pizza Hut. It was busy and with a friendly atmosphere. We were offered the option to order via an app or from a server. We chose the latter! I can't see the point in sitting in a place and ordering through an app. There are different pricing options. We went for a small individual pizza with a side free salad and a drink (excludes large glasses of wine). Cost = £16.99. Pizza choice was either thin. deep pan or stuffed crust. Payment was by card only. All in all, it did what ot said on the tin and is conveniently situated for Cineworld.

A warm welcome by very competent staff. We were seated and brought menus within seconds.The atmosphere was great. Whilst very busy that evening it did not feel crowded or hurried.Our food and drinks were delicious.The person serving us was cheerful and attentive.We had cold drinks, salad, pizza and desserts. All were perfect.There is a free, but time limited customer car park.

Great food and service! They accidentally cooked me the wrong pizza so gave me this pizza to have while I waited for mine as they'd already started cooking it. So I ended up with 2 pizzas! One completely free. I wouldn't have been bothered as both pizza were beaut! But they noticed their mistake right away and went above and beyond to make sure I'd be a satisfied customer. Which I indeed was. Also loving the new order system online! Makes it so much easier and less hassle. Overall great place for pizza!

Was greeted on arriving and seated within a few minutes, was explained that it was card payments only which I don't agree with as cash is legal tender.We couldn't order on the app so our order was taken food all arrived piping hot, salad bar was well stocked, ice cream factory isn't great as always seems to be half melted and not enough topping choices.Will definitely return as the food was good, staff were all friendly too.

Nice pizza, clean, friendly staff. Surprised they sat people at the table right next to us, when the restaurant had very few diner's but it was only shortly prior to us being ready to leave.

It's not what it used to be. Pizzas are no longer awesome as they used to be and are soggy, greasy and just not that great. Still, my 7 year old enjoyed making her own ice-cream 🍦

Came today for the buffet lunch. It was clean and the food was lovely.The staff were very accommodating (a young man and women.) When my Torettes became more vocal, my partner asked If it was possible for us to take our lunch home which they were both really lovely and understanding and reassuring. I thought I would leave a review as some places are alot less understanding and I felt this was a good experience and they are excellent staff and they should be praised.

Great to see the buffet on a weekend now with a variety of pizza, pasta dishes and of course, salad.The drink machine does not offer Pepsi, only diet versions which is a disappointment to not have the choice.Service was good to see a person without apps which us great.

Used to like pizza hut , didn't go often as it was expensive , was a nice treat , but not any more , the food was the same but the place is a glorified expensive takeaway now , order on line !What happened to personal service ?The staff , although polite , looked like they didn't care who was in the restaurant , and I chose that word very loosely it was more like a kindergarten , and don't get me wrong here I like kids , was with my granddaughter but there was no adult supervision and I put this down to the staff as they just stood back and watchedReally if I go out to a restaurant I want to sit at a table and give my order to a person , I could have stayed home and had the same response/experience

The waitresses name was Olivia. She had amazing service. Olivia was very polite and friendly. Also she was very helpful and useful to us when I was struggling a bit with ordering my food and she took her time and didn't rush us. I highly recommend her and I hope her boss/manager hears about this so they can give her a reward or try to appreciate her service.
