Rajas in Wakefield

We’ve never had a bad meal here. The deliveries are always quick and they easily serve the best takeaway food in Wakefield.

Was the best takeaway to go to and we ordered regularly, sometimes 3 times a week but not again after our last experience.Now, delivery was always slow but the food was really nice and worth the extra wait.On the 27th March 2022 we ordered our food at just after half past 5. At 7pm we made our first call to ask where our food was to be told it was on its way. We live 3 miles away. 15 minutes later and now food so phone call 2 to be told it was just on its way, then it was being prepared, then it was on its way. We specifically asked if it would be hot when it arrived. It did arrive just after 2 hours with no drink as stated and the food was cold, chips soggy and kebab meat dry and like leather, this was no regular kebab this was a £17.99 kebab so should have been red hot and in top condition. Phone call 3 and we were told they were sorry and would refund us via Uber eats. Well we are still waiting and nothing.I’m sorry but being lied to about the food and refund and the food being cold is not acceptable at all. We will not use Raja’s again.

Always great food ordered my food on uber for the next day by accident phoned them and quickly resolved. Great food and great customer service. Thanks again

What a real hidden Gem... A must try!!! Just had an amazing TAWA with my family dined inside. Service was top notch and the food was simply amazing, very traditional and tasteful. Would highly recommend everyone to try this TAWA. Will be certainly returning here for sure.

I Order from rajas desi grill regularly. They never dissapoint. Great food. Mozzarella sticks are one to try. Pizzas are great too. The food is Always hot when delivered. Highly recommended this takeaway. Staff always polite.

Absolutely lovely large kebab on nan with salad. Came over 10 mins early. Definitely will be ordering again. I haven't had a kebab like that since I went to Turkey. Delivery guy was polite too. Definitely would recommend 😊.For the price too you get more than your money's worth. Will take two sittings to eat it. So yummy. Thank you guys ☺️

Absolutely outstanding! The price is brilliant for one, £16 for a large pizza, cheesy chips, a chicken burger and a portion of chilli cheese bites and a bottle of coke including delivery! And the flavours and the tastes its just amazing! Delivery was quick and food was hot!
