Robatary in Wakefield

I live locally and Ive eaten here plenty. The food is really good! I can honestly say Ive never had a disappointing meal.Good value, nice venue, good selection of drinks.My only critique is the toilet in the gents seems unusually high.

Great food, great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly.Highly recommend the crispy chilli beef (and the pork burnt ends from the small plates menu are delicious.)

Good food,, good service, average prices. We had a number of the smaller plates plus a main dish to share between our family of 4, will go back !

Visited this evening to find the menu had just changed and it did not disappoint. The staff were attentive and really pleasant as I always and the food was beautifully presented and an explosion of flavours. 100% recommend 👌

First time at Robatary. We were impressed by the service. We had two people in our group that had mobility problems and the seats allocated were not suitable, the staff had no hesitation in setting up and providing an alternative table. The service was attentive and polite without being intrusive. Once we understood how the menu was set out, the food was excellent. A friendly suggestion, the pancakes served with the duck, would be better served flat than packaged in a nice square which made them difficult to separate. We would definitely go there again.

4, only because it was not first time there and normally I have 5 star food and service. Today went in for reef and beef. Steak was amazing, unlike the lobster, which was subpar, tasted like stagnant dirty water. Can’t blame chef or cooks for it, just low quality of one ingredient but extra £20 for it demands review.

Had been two weeks ago. Brilliant decor, love the details. The food was very delicious, made with care, waiters and welcoming when we walk in fantastic.10/10

Excellent customer service, calm and relaxing ambiance, quick service and a decent sized menu.The starters were delicious, food arrived pretty quickly, a tad expensive but worth the extra money spent for something so tastyThe mains weren't the best unfortunately, I had the burger and it was difficult to eat, the burger was overcooked and tough but the sides were very tasty.Experience was great, let down by the mains but the meal overall was great, the starters more than made up for the mains.Definitely need to go back to try different things

Popped in for a quick lunch. Very good Asian style fusion food. Have family and friends who visit here often, and I can see why! Very good indeed.
