Ruddy Duck in Wakefield

A lovely meal with family like always, fantastic service and great food. Bar staff are really friendly and welcoming, waitress was very polite and helpful. Very accommodating to us with a baby, heating up our bottle and seating us in an area spacious for the pram to be next to us. A great little kids area too, although my daughter is too young for the child’s area there are some lights in there which she would enjoy.

A nice welcome and a good table . The food was well presented , didn't take long to came and was very tasty. My gammon was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and overall a very nice atmosphere. Great value.

We eat at the Ruddy at least once a week. The food is always delicious and great value for money. The place is spacious, clean and inviting and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our server yesterday was a new girl called Niamh. She was very friendly and helpful and I'm sure will be a real asset to the place. Try their mixed grills. Delicious :)

We frequently come here to the ruddy duck. Today we've come for our regular pizza and drink after work and found the most amazing pool table in wakefield at the moment! It compliments the amazing staff team/management and great atmosphere. Its one of our favourite Marston pubs to visit

Nice food. Reasonably priced menu. Been twice. 1st time was 10 out of 10 for food and customer service. 2nd time we visited the food wasn't as nice but good enough to go back. it was very very busy so was probably due to that. one staff member was a bit unwelcoming and shook her head at us to another member of staff which made us feel uncomfortable. The younger waitress was really friendly though and very helpful. Would go again when it's not too busy.

The food here is beautiful, me and my mum come here often for meals as it's our favourite place. Never had an issue with the meals and the customer service is lovely, especially from our server today (Jamie) who was friendly and polite. would fully recommend coming here :)

This pub is perfectly placed for an after work meal 🍴 and the food is good quality around average price for pub food the service is excellent and though it's fairly quiet for a Saturday night, the service was quick and my bowl of chips 🍟 is good and crispy. The Big plus ➕ for me is that I can enjoy a nosebag and charge my Electric car on a rapid charger for just £5 & 99 virtually 0 - 100% in just two and a half hours. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great atmosphere and location. Excellent, lovely, very efficient and multi tasking staff. I enjoyed the evening with my partner and the kind gent who brought our food and drinks jamie was very friendly, he made me feel more at ease with general chit chat. Will definitely visit again :)

The staff are a credit to venue, really tentative and friendly while keeping professional. From our service at the bar by Beth up to Lewis delivering our food we felt really looked after. Thanks guys can’t wait to come back

Came here for my first visit after hearing good reviews from friends. Food was absolutely beautiful. Hats off to Jamie who made sure I had everything we needed and just provided a 10/10 service. Will deffo return.
