The service was brilliant, the staff were friendly, we went with our son who has behavioural issues and we didn't feel judged one bit! Which is a first! They conversed with us and the children, very lovely atmosphere! The food was delicious too! And the puddings are something else! Nothing was too much trouble,Will definitely be returning thankyou for a pleasant few hours out!

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The chef was exceptionally so, (my elderly mum was struggling to eat her her choice of pork so he kindly gave her some turkey instead). It’s touches like that, that make you want to return.Only a couple of negatives, no fish other than scampi and the coffee machine wasn’t working. Other than that, a lovely time was had. Thank you!

Food was good, no faults at all . Good value for money.We had a lady who served us who constantly hovered around us. We went for my friend's birthday not for a chat with the waitresses. To top it all when I went to pay at the bar she took over saying she would take my payment. She then went ahead and pressed the tip button, fortunately, I saw what she did. I will tip if I want to! She was far to intense.

Beautiful tasty carvery at a reasonable price. We had two small plates and two diet Pepsi for £19.00. There were three different meats to choose from, yorkshire pudding and stuffing.Plus four different vegetable choices, mashed and roast potatoes. Sauces and gravy available for you to add to your plate at the end. The decor inside is a little tired and out dated. There is a massive car park at the back of the pub. Well worth a visit for the food.

We was taken for a meal by family this afternoon. The food was lovely. The service was great. The young man on the carvery was very pleasant. And also the lady that took are plates away and asked if everything was okay she was so good. To say they was really short staffed.they all did a great job.

Greeted kindly at the door and seated, took our time to order our choice of food and drink. Our order was taken and within 20-25mins it was brought to our table. We enjoyed our meal payed and left the bar staff and front of house staff were lovely.

Took 90 year old friend, recently discharged from hospital (limited mobility) out for lunch. Sean (what a star!) spotted us approaching and opened a different door and moved a picnic table to help him access the restaurant. Food really enjoyable. Apple pie and custard a big hit. We will be back!

Called in today just for a drink no dinning, the food menu looks okay and carvery is also available. Staff friendly and polite. Nice and cosy surroundings with some nice areas outside.

What a difference to 3 years ago. Friendly Staff, Good Food, Decent Carvery. Waiting times on par with other places now. Enjoyed a couple of visits recently. Well worth a visit.
