TGI Fridays in Wakefield

Our server Beth was lovely, super friendly, very attentive and made our trip out the best. Refilled our drinks quickly aswell. She was just great fun, we will be coming back !

What a catastrophic visit. Cold food. One meal not delivered. The only saving grace was Lilly. She was a star and should get a medal and pay rise. We even asked to speak to the manager but he didn't show. Just discounted our bill. That does not compensate for a lousy birthday meal for my son. Will not be going again

Steak was OK but very overpriced, almost £24 for a rib eye and chips. Very dark and dreary decor and staff visibly cringe when then have to sing their happy birthday song to guests. 4/10.

The food is good, but hugely overpriced.The thing that ruined it for us was all of the young waiting staff who had very little in the way of customer service skills and struggled to show any interest in their job. I know waiting on tables isn't exactly a teenagers idea of fun, but come on kids, you're getting paid for it, so at least try to pretend you're interested.

Shocking customer service , slow and not attentive,visited 2 weeks ago, Sunday . The restaurant wasn’t full , few tables only . I was 3 of us , myself my husband and little daughter. As soon as we sat on the table I’ve order baby plate , assuming it’s going to arrive sooner than our food , but instead it has arrived after our food , had to ask waitress for it . Our waitress only had three tables to look after , how can you not check if there is something missing?!

Starters were really good. Ordered a bottle of red wine. Waitress served it chilled in an ice bucket! Mains were average. Kids food was good.

No potato skins, dirty plates (had to ask for clean ones) no strawberry sauce, no cheesecake. Server was very friendly and fast so that was a highlight. Don't rate the vegetable fajitas at all, just onions and chillies and some baby corn. Gone down hill since last visited in 2019.

Love the food here. Steaks are to die for.Sadly on our last visit the steaks were not good, but the restaurant sorted that for us with no hassle.Apparently they are struggling for stock, and having to use different suppliers, which is obviously effecting the quality of the food.Having said that, the waiter said they should be back to normal soon, and have the original menu back on, and not the limited one they have at the minute.All covid related.Looking forward to returning soon for one of their rib eye steaks.

Fridays sesame chicken strips with house fries, no longer served with its legendary glaze despite the menu stating it does - new glaze is terrible in comparison. No menu warning, no staff warning but then confirmed by numerous members of staff. No discount on our bill either!! Pretty sure they increased their prices too...

Food was okay, decent and not overly expensive. I think they reduced the menu after covid as there's no hotdogs or anything.
