Really friendly unpretentious pub, we got a lovely warm welcome. Fantastic outside terrace with marvelous view. Food plentiful and well cooked. Will definitely visit again.

Its dated and needs an urgent refurb but it was open middle of the afternoon on a Wed and was serving food. It had good beers on offer but the lager less so .

A warm welcome and comfortable environment awaits. A traditional pub with delicious food. The staff are friendly and capable, and chef Steve provides a weekend carvery that sells out. Save some room for the tasty old school puddings and desserts.

Fantastic pub with very friendly atmosphere. Food is great and pricing is amazing. 2 course for £5.95! (Dont quote me but mon-fri,12-2pm) well worth a visit after this lockdown. Stay safe everyone.

Can't fault the place. Excellent all round. We've been to quite a few places for meals. And since we came across Thatched house we don't go anywhere else. Excellent food. Fresh. Well cooked. Great choice. Steak night on a Thursday. The landlord knows how to cook a steak.Staff very welcoming.
