Thai on the Square in Wakefield

I can't give 5 stars as we were given the wrong starters. That said, the servers were all lovely, friendly, personable, and apologetic. The mistake was rectified swiftly. More importantly, the food was incredible. We had the Gold tasting menu, and everything was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and just the right portion sizes. I would highly recommend têt and will definitely be returning. I only added a photo of the "after" as we were too keen to get stuck into the food as it all looked and smelt amazing.

The food was amazing, the staff couldn't do enough for you. The only thing I'd say as a negative is the bottled beer could have been a little bit colder. But apart from that, outstanding! Definitely be back soon.

Nice place, tasty food, helpful staff. That being said, the food was good but rather expensive for the portion size and when I asked why one of dishes arrived cold, the manager told me it was because a previous customer burnt their mouth 🤣 Tables are fairly close together, but the fresh and small menu is definitely worth checking out if you have the money.

Restaurant is tastefully decorated with an up market feel, plenty of tables, small and large. The young staff were very nice and friendly. Food was excellent but portions were smaller than expected, especially for the high prices. Starters £9+, main courses £16+ , small bottles of beer £5+. Not cheap but would go again as a treat.

This has to be one of the best Thai restaurants in the north! The service was also incredible, and I would highly recommend a visit. I had a small issue with my wine, which unfortunately was fermented due to being sat around during Covid, and this was immediately swapped with apologies. The presentation, quantity and quality of the food was simply impeccable, and the selection of drinks were amazing. We can’t wait to visit when the indoors is open, however the outdoor seating was covered for all weathers and has heaters too.

Really lovely waiting staff. Tasty food which is nicely presented. A little pricey but compares to other restaurants nearby. We've been few times and the meal quality has always been consistent.
