Nice brilliant family run deli, great variety and the choices were very nice. The presentation was excellent and the test even better. Amazing customer service and very professional and friendly. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food on offer. I recommend it very highly and will definitely be back on regular basis .

I am an events manager and have used this company both for work and personally. I initially hired for a party at home and was so impressed I have since hired Alex for some of my work events. The service is excellent from start to finish....no request seems too much (no matter how obscure) my clients and guests (and friends and family for my home hire) commented on how tasty the food was. Always on time and very professional and well presented. I would recommend this caterer for any catering needs no matter how small or large! Definitely 5 star standard

My recommendation could not be higher. Black olive recently did the catering for my garden party for 110 people, mostly celebrities including a couple from Beverley Hills. Being a new company I was slightly worried at first but I had been to another event that they had catered for and it was excellent. From the moment they started to serve my guests just never stopped with the complements. They were a delight to deal with and it is my pleasure to recommend them to you. Ask about the cheese cake It's AMAZING !!!!!!!

I ordered some buffet food for a house party I was having last week. The communication with the owner Alex was brilliant and all was organised the same evening via messenger a few weeks back. What was really good for my circumstances was that the Black Olive caters for smaller numbers. I had tried a few other places first (as I didn't know that the Black Olive did outside catering) and other venues had a minimum covers of 10 and I only wanted 6. The price was very reasonable. I ordered a platter of sandwiches, a fruit platter, a tray bake platter, a cheese board, some cupcakes and a few nibbles. All of the food was fresh to order made on the morning of my party and delivered to my home address free of charge on a lovely set of crockery (again for no additional cost just a request to return it when convenient). I would highly recommend and it was so good to support a local business. Would definitely use again :)

We hired Yorkshire Catering Company/ the black olive for our wedding in February 2018. Alex worked to our brief exactly, and from the second we tasted her samosas, dips, chapatis and curries we knew this was the caterer for us. On the day itself Alex was working with limited kitchen facilities in a village-hall type set up, yet all the food for 75 people was piping hot and truly delicious. The presentation of the food was great too, and Alex provided lovely glass plates and cutlery. There were so many compliments about the food on the night, and Alex made the whole thing stress free; setting up with no assistance or questions, speedy food service with a smile, and a thorough clean-up. She even managed to cater for one guest with a very specific set of dietary restrictions including gluten intolerance, and the vegetarian guests were overjoyed with their option! There was absolutely nothing that could have been improved about the food or the service that we received throughout the whole process.

I used Yorkshire Catering for a client networking event and they did a great job. Food was fantastic and good value. They're a really organised and helpful business which took a huge amount of the planning and stress out of our hands so we could concentrate on the event itself.I would recommend them to all.

I recently used the Black olives Catering service to provide for my grandmothers 80th birthday and was more than satisfied with the quality of food and customer care we were provided with, no problem was too small and dealt with in the correct manner. Stumbled across this little gem last weekend and treated the Staggs to a lovely lunch. Great tasting food, plentiful portions and good value. All topped off by a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. I hear they do catering, will check them out for my next shindig. Vern

Absolutely fantastic! Me and my wife hired Alex and her team to cater for a party we organised. The food was unbelievably tasty and our guests were very pleased with the variety.
