The Bull's Head in Wakefield

Lovely food, 5 adults and 2 children we went for Lunch on Sunday. We went at 4pm and it was still quite busy but very relaxed. The staff are really good, friendly and professional. We had the Chicken Supreme which was perfectly cooked and children had Pizza's which they loved. Finished off with mini dessert and coffee, perfect. Highly recommend 👍😋

Decided to visit as they allow dogs (which is very rare in a restaurant) in there 'snug area' which was small but perfect for us. There were three or four tables in this area all with plenty of room. We were seated at quite a large table by a lovely young man named khonner. We where given a few minutes to look at the menu then ordered our drinks at which point we asked for recommendations on mains as there were alot of things I liked the sound of, four recommendations where made and we went with two out of the four. We ordered garlic bread with mozzarella, chorizo and manchego cheese in honey for starter - absolutely delicious. Mains we had beef bourguignon (literally melt in the mouth) and the pork fillet (so tender and the sauce was amazing) with sweet potato fries which were tasty. We shared the sundae for desert which was full of brownie, cookie dough, cream and icream. Amazing customer service and attention to detail, thank you Khonner. I will most definitely be visiting again 10 out of 10.

I was going for a drive and saw the Bulls head. Instantly caught my eye. We were slightly hungry so we thought we would try this place out. I’m so glad we did. The customer service and attentiveness from the staff were amazing from the offset. Harry and Natalie were simply amazing. I have a very energetic three-year-old which to say the least they helped me team and helped me with kids activities. This place is such a blessing to have them. The food was great. My husband is Moroccan so If you are a Moroccan I wouldn’t suggest a Moroccan menu as it’s more of an English type Moroccan place. Overall I would say it’s an absolutely fantastic place great ambience and fantastic chilled place to come! We definitely will return

Lovely place, clean, tidy, and very knowledgeable staff when questions asked about the menu, loved it and will be returning soon.

It was a nice place with a great bar with great cocktails. Be had the big table for about 16 people. The fixed menu was average not great. 4 out of 10 for food. 9 out of 10 for service. No spoons was served for desert and water was not provided. After desert the we got bill when not asking for it. Felt like we was pushed out.

To be honest we didn’t enjoy our food here. The staff where lovely, speed and service was fine.We both had starters, calamari was awful, cheap from frozen and not worth its cost. The gambas was nothing more then cheap standard prawns in oil. We had pizza, slightly undercooked. We hadn’t eaten all day and was starving, so sending the food back to get the same standard wasn’t time efficient. It’s been 5 days since we were there and both have had bad stomachs still. It’s still cheap pub grub in a nicer setting.

Amazing service yesterday and chilled atmosphere when we visited "The Bulls Head" the staff were really polite and professional and the food was beautiful with a wide range of drinks, wines, cocktails, beers and there was also an alcohol free choice. The children also got activity packs to keep them occupied.. Really pleased we will be returning!

Good night of food and drink at the Ego!Overall we had a really nice evening. The food was incredible and the atmosphere of the main restaurant is perfect for a birthday meal;Reasons why it didn't quite get 5 stars from me:- service was good but not great, all evening there was a kind of tension between us and out waitress, hard to describe the reasons but there was something there.- the birthday offer is for buy one get one free but it's the cheapest meal. If only two people dined then this would be the second most expensive meal free (by default) however with 5 people it was the cheapest of the 5. In my opinion it should be the second most expensive as if we split the table into a 2 and a 3 then it would be that way- the toilets are disgusting, they really need to update them to be at the same standard as the rest of the restaurant. I just hope the kitchen matches the restaurant and not the toilets in the standards

Bit of a mixed one - we went a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch and it was really nice, however we went at the weekend for Sunday lunch and the portions had shrunk! Only two halves of a potato, two bits of parsnip, a couple of tiny carrots and no green veg, I let them know that my veg had been missed off - they apologised and brought me a portion. Their dinners don't have mash potatoes either which is disappointing. I do think the portions are small for the cost. Pudding was good though !

Lovely staff, always kind and willing to help. The food is amazing never had a bad meal and the price is good. Mid ranged not super expensive not over cheap just right for a nice family meal
