Overall it was nice enough. Usual veg; garden peas, carrots, cauliflower, roast and mashed potatoes . Not too sure about red cabbage 'each to their own'. Turkey was lovely, beef was fatty but once removed it was tasty and tender. ordered a large carvery and the extra sausage, Yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets were nice. No room for a pudding 😂

Great service from the second we walked in. Good selection of drinks. Lovely carvery - great selection of vegetables and crispy roast potatoes. Kids meals - great value for money. Would highly recommend

Poor service 3 staff at the bar 1 serving with 4 waiting and the food was very poor mash was raw and not mashed and the beef was old and burnt. We used to be regulars but this is the last time. Would not recommend

Absolutely discusting went in for 3 x carvery veg was all dried up roast potatoes definitely been stood for hours..3 x meats gammon, beef, and turkey WOW what can I say burnt small left overs of gammon and beef and a turkey frame..see photos please!!! No gravy when asked for fresh veg and gravy and if any meats replied with no more meats or potatoes, but I have gravy..took almost 10mins to come out of back with no gravy..got refund !! My advice if going for a carvery please go and look at the carvery before paying.

Staff were very polite and nice. It’s such a shame that the food wasn’t as good quality. The Carvery was dry, the meat and the veg. It looked like it had been there a while and after staying for 2 hours (mainly due to the wait for the other food), I cannot say I saw anything being swapped for fresher food. The Yorkshire puddings were extremely hard. As mentioned, we waited almost an hour (55 mins) from ordering on the app to receiving our pizza orders which were better quality than the Carvery but bittersweet as the other members of the group had finished eating a while before and were 5 minutes from receiving their desserts. The desserts didn’t come as advertised as whipped cream had replaced the ice cream that was advertised with the dessert, this was asked to be exchanged to which it was just scraped off (not very well) and a dollop of ice cream put in its place. Also, raspberry sauce replaced cherry coulis that had been advertised with the cheesecake, that also came with no lemon which was advertised. The brownie seemed to be more of a cake than a brownie. Cannot say we will be returning. The 2 stars came from the staff being apologetic for the wait, otherwise this would have been a 1 star rating.

Popped in for some food this afternoon and I cannot believe how I’ve never been here before. When I came in the manager and the girl serving was there straight away to greet and help me through the menu. Great choice of food and plenty to choose from but in the end I settled for a Carvery as I’m starving.Three meats to choose from and all looked delicious, gammon pork and beef so obviously I had all 3 there was a really lovely chef behind the counter with a foreign accent (think she’s from London) she’s a real credit to the team.Thank you kate and the team for my lunch i will be back

Had the remains of a xmas voucher to use up and decided to spend them here. We ordered burgers with chips off the menu. They were really good and far superior to the ones we had eaten last week at a well known burger chain. The pud wasn’t bad either. Taylor the young lady who served us was extremely pleasant and helpful even when I got my order wrong and needed to change it. Thank you. Have already decided to try the breakfast at the weekend.

First time coming here since it has all been done out and wow!!!! carnt even give it one star but Google will not let me put no star after waiting over a hour for food when it's quiet ordered the carvery calzone and this is what I got dry meat inside not as it was on the menu will not return again

Both fish and chips where watery fish and very dry chips and peas. (Like it had been left under a heat lamp too long or reheated).Carvery was too saltyBurger had bacon that was more fat that near and choked my little brother. (For less yoh burger do a much better burger)Drink selection is lacking and the bar staff seem to be unable to pour a drink without a mess.Won’t be going again.
