The Deep Drop in Wakefield

This is probably slightly better than the other pubs along this route and has a decent beer garden. The only bugbear I had was my wife got a small white wine which was £5. This isn't London. Very pricey I thought for this kind of pub.

Visited for the first time this afternoon after a celebration of life for a lovely friend and colleague.Really friendly ladies running the pub, interesting variety of beers and ciders and a very welcome mug of tea if preferred.Lovely selection of food at the buffet including homemade lasagne which was particularly delicious .My first visit but it won’t be my last.

The pub is really nice and clean the staff are really nice the tvs are great especially for sport when they show football and rugby matches also its dog friendly

Friendly staff. Pub reasonably warm inside. Plenty of tables to sit and eat and pool table if you fancy a game. Lacks some comfortable chairs but worth a visit

Really great looking pub inside and out. Lovely warm and friendly staff and owners. Worth a visit. New Coffee Machine going in today. I tried the first cup, Black Americano. Tasted Great.

Over priced for what you actually get. At the end of the day it’s a pub not a city centre restaurant. If I’m paying £20 a steak I don’t want to have to cook it myself. Also clientele in the pub wasn’t great. Staff poor. Definitely need to work on their people skills. I don’t think I’ll be returning for food anytime soon. However the pub itself has had a lovely refurb.
