The Fox and Hounds in Wakefield

Had a Sunday Roast recently. The meat was lovely. However, the veg provided was one small dish with 2 x cauliflower , 2 x broccoli a small amount of peas and carrots. Certainly not enough for 2 people. We asked for another one but was told will be chargeable. A few roast potatoes on each plate wasn't enough and needed a little longer to crisp, finally the menu said " home made Yorkshire puddings ". They certainly where not and tasted bland. Very disappointed unfortunately......

Booked a meal here, lovely place. Food was excellent, she had Fish and Chips and I had Gammon, Egg and Chips with the juiciest piece of pineapple you could imagine! Chloe provided excellent service throughout and was very pleasant. Very reasonable priced too. There was a DJ on playing great songs too. Would highly recommend. 😃

Called in today for lunch, a very welcoming staff, a good selection of drinks available. I was surprised to find supplied by Bradfield Brewery. I chose gammon, my mate the sausage and mash. Both arrived in ample portions and were delicious, a very enjoyable lunch. We will return...

Great menu choice very reasonably priced.Excellent friendly service. Great place to call in after a walk around New Miller Dam. We will be back again soon.

Sunday lunch. Prawn cocktail, Beef dinner and Apple and berry crumble. All prepared to perfection, and the girls serving tables where all lovely, very polite and attentive. Will be returning.

Great pub with brilliant and friendly staff. Lovely food and thurst quenching Ale. Made a big fuss of my dog while I was there. Call in you won't be disappointed.

Amazing service from start to finish.They managed to squeeze me and my family into a busy mother's day schedule on short notice.When we arrived we were greeted by such lovely staff who looked after us throughout our meal.From providing us with an alternate high chair for our little baby and offering to warm up my wife's starter after she had to look after our daughter, to making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our lunch. Absolutely amazing food and great value. We will definitely be going back there.

Wonderful!! From the first contact helping to make a potentially difficult day for us all into a memorial experience! All staff were great both on the phone and in person. They coped brilliantly with last minute changes to numbers and tweaks to our orders. I couldn’t be more pleased!! The food was great too!! Thank you to all your team!

Visited a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch with family. The place Is lovely and we all enjoyed our meals though they Did make a few mistakes with them. The bad bit came when we received the bill and found that we had been charged nearly £30 for drinks we did not have. The waitress took them straight off the bill when we pointed this out to her with no arguments. So please please you make sure that you check your bill
