The Harvester in Wakefield

We was served by a nice fella called Lee who was very good with our order from start to finish. The salad bar was small on choice but all very fresh and nice. The soft drinks were refillable so great value. The mains were as expected and all of us liked. The steak wasn't cooked the best but was ok for me to eat. It was an extremely hot day and I felt the staff were coping very well

Loved it. Was strange waitress making salad at the salad bar but I likes it and she was extremely generous!

First time visiting, was made to feel very welcome straight away by the man who greeted us at the entrance and showed us to our seats, thought it was nice that he asked if we had visited before, explained where the toilets were and that our server would help us with the salad bar. Our waitress Heather was lovely, very pleasant and helpful - credit where it’s due!The meals were lovely, tasty- my steak was one of the best I have ever had, cooked to perfection, and the chicken was so moist and juicy.Will certainly return and would recommend it - even better if you sign up for their emails, they send occasional offers out - we got 50% off our main meals, well worth it.

I can't talk higher of the staff here. We called ahead to see if there would be space for a pram as we have a new born. They told us they were on limited staff and half the restaurant was closed but should be able to put us somewhere. When we arrived they sat us in the closed section so there was plenty of room for us. All the staff were super friendly and so helpful. Our little boy was grouchy due to the heat so we took a while to eat our food. They were patient with us and offered to place our food back under the grill to keep warm while we sorted out little man. We were served by Dani and honestly can't thank her enough. Amazing service, food was beautiful too.

After a very hard week we decided to go to the winding wheel for the first time but have been to other harvesters. Can I just say this has been the best one we have ever been to and I want to say whoever is managing the establishment is running a very tight ship yet all staff members seem to be smiling and enjoying themselves and the service was absolutely out of this world. Food was absolutely brilliant for a franchise chain and the chefs cooked my steak perfect. Left a tip for you all to enjoy and we will be here every single weekend from now on! THATS HOW ITS DONE AND IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT

The best Harvester, we travel an hour to get there. Delicious food. Staff are always friendly and polite. Never had a bad experience yet. It is great to have a meal where it isn't fried in loads of oil and a plate full of chips. Any excuse to pass and stop.

We had a booking for 7 people. Everything came out together, tasted great. Our experience here was very pleasant. Our waitress/host Emily was absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Thanks alot to her.

A lot better than I expected! Great choices for the kids too. I had a smoked chicken stack (or something, can’t recall the name), it was so tasty! And the portions were just right. Not massive and over whelming. My daughter had the smoked beef brisket with mashed potato and gravy. I had to steal a taste. It was delightful!Also love being able to sample all of the delicious sauces that they have on offer. My only regret is that I didn’t have more fries to dip in the sauces. :)The staff were also super polite and helpful. Made us feel very welcome.

Had a wonderful meal tonight. Covid regulations Still being enforced so no problem there .the food was hot and served promptly by are server Mandy who’s happy smiling face Made the meal even more enjoyable. Who knew are server had worked with Paul Daniels and had been his assistant before Debbie McGee.she even did a few card tricks for us will definitely return to this surprising restaurant.As Paul Daniels used to say ‘we liked it not a lot ‘only joking it was excellent

Went to the winding wheel with my partner last Friday to the best breakfast I ever ever had eggs 3 ways and everything cooked perfect the female chef proves that the girls are just as good if not better at running the kitchen she has certainly set the bar for cooking👩‍🍳 I hope she has a bright fantastic future in the chef world Thankyou soo much for my breakfast 11/10 ❤️
