Very busy when we went in but quick at serving an getting food out was recommended to this café and would recommend it to others that are in the area go here well worth it might be dearer than some places but the food is hot when you get it and the place itself is very clean

Was given the wrong item 3 times after ordering at the till. Girl working behind the till was more interested in her phone and talking to other customers than LISTENING to an order being placed. Unprofessional at it’s finest.

Asked for well done bacon. When the sandwich came out they even shouted well done bacon. A good vet could bring it back to life. Disappointed after waiting 20 mins for a sany

I came across this little gem when I was recently up working around the Wakefield area on business.They offer a Great full English breakfast and a good variety of lunches at very reasonable prices.The cafe is a warm welcoming and friendly place and I would definitely recommend it to anyone either visiting the area or on business to call and try this cafe. You won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be going there again on my next business trip to Wakefield 👍👍

Fantastic full English washed down with a cup of coffee.Foods brilliant here and cooked fresh to order even when busy you still receive fantastic food.Would definitely recommend thornes lane cafe.Friendly polite staff too. Brilliant service from all staff and management team 🙂

Whilst travelling through Wakefield on business came across Thornes Lane Cafe. Great choice of hot and cold food, I went for steak pie, chips and peas which was delicious and reasonably priced.The staff were really polite and helpful and very welcoming to an out of towner. Will definitely be back when passing though again as even has great parking. Brilliant 5*

I called in to order a latte around 20 minutes before closing. When I asked for a latte to take out, the girl serving went over to start making it, but then said she couldn’t do it with no explanation why. Seemed more interested in closing up. I won’t be going there again.

I called in today and ordered a gorgeous Chinese curry with rice. The staff are friendly and welcoming and do social distancing very well. If you like mocha then try the chocolate coconut version, you won't need sugar.
