Lovely place, not too big or noisey. Food is good standard cheese 🧀 and bacon 🥓 burger 🍔 was very yummy. Staff were nice a friendly too, reasonably priced just under £20 for 2 course Sunday lunch.

We ordered food for 6 and one of the kids meals served was incorrect. What was odd was the adults food came first ( always a bit frustrating).Businesses take note, send kids first they can't contain their hunger like an adult can and for the under 5s it always needs time to cool before they tuck in.The chicken goujons incorrectly served were very overcooked, it was poor they even sent them out of the kitchen. Then it took too long to fry the correct fish goujons. Both kids refused the fish ( which is unheard of, my girl could be a fish she eats that much of it). I tried one after I'd eaton my Ceaser salad, which was alright, generous portion with lots of anchovies. What let it fish was unbelievable overdone and greasy croutons. They're fish was really greasy too and slightly dry!Our sides of French Fries were oversalted. I cannot understand why a chef/ cook in any professional kitchen think it is good practice to salt children's food. Its almost as if the industry doesn't offer training in nutrition and traffic light system. They're bodies cannot process sodium efficently like an adult! So stop salting food and let us manage our own.Our dirty plates remained on our table for 30 minutes after, I went into the bar to order drinks and 4 staff were all stood chatting in the restaurant. We weren't the only garden table neglected. So eventually we cleared our own table after being dive bombed by the last of the summer wasps.Redeeming factor, the toilets are really clean, the bar staff are very cheery and polite, the waiting staff are also social( but mainly amongst themeselves). The garden is big and well maintained and it feels safe for families.I didn't have my phone to take photographs.

Grate location ideal to walk between the 3 pubs in Newmiller. Big beer garden with kids play area lots of outdoor seats and tables. Prices are okay for the area good beers the food menus look good not tried it yet.

Lovely meal as always I had the belly pork salad with halloumi fries. The beer garden was beautiful and the service was also great.

The Sunday menu was small but perfectly formed. The food was well presented and cooked well. The staff were very helpful and had definitely been well trained in customer service. The only downside to the Pledwick Inn is the amount of noise in the dining area. This is my third visit and the noise in the dining area is a huge minus to my dining experience. It is so bad I couldn't hear my partner who was sat opposite me. I hope the owners can look into some way to minimise it.

Cosy and welcoming, staff were super friendly. Food was nice for a gastro pub, portions for burger was generous as it came with a whole host of extras, the risotto was well cooked and nicely balanced. However, some items of note for the 4 stars... This is not an accessible friendly pub. Quite a few awkward steps inside the establishment, uneven and sloping floor (to the extent our table was defiantly not level...), initial scan implied toilets were down stairs (however didn't really explore if there was an accessible toilet on the ground floor). Did expect for a gastro pub to ask how rare diners would like their beef patty (it was super tasty) so it came pinker than desired for the other half. Would be go back? Yes, but one that we would come rushing back to due to the accessibility, so if this isn't an issue for you? Definitely recommended!
