A lovely evening with friends at the Ford Sidevalve Owners Club annual Christmas Dinner. Owner and her staff were first class, helpful and professional. Dinner was really good.

Called today and had the Smoked Mackerel ( the best you'll ever taste), the Roast Pork, and Strawberry Cheesecake. Everything was absolutely spot on. The Reindeer is a lovely cosy pub with very friendly staff who are always pleased to help in any way.It's a real pleasure to eat here, and it wont be long before I return. They also have a good selection of beers, although I had Cider this time.If your looking for good food and great service, you can't go wrong with the Reindeer.Update: After a lengthy absence, for obvious reasons, I called back today and wasn't disappointed. The Sunday Roast is really good home cooked food. The very best. The whole thing was cooked to perfection. It was an absolute pleasure to eat there.I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Place is a typical working class boozer. Food was basic but I really enjoyed it. Lovely steak and kidney pie with chips and mushy peas. Good value lunch.

Very friendly landlady. Over worked and needs more customers with covid 19 being the main draw back to customers staying at home more than before the outbreak. Lovely views and outdoor seating area. It's well worth a visit, meals at reasonable prices. 😋

Wonderful Landlord and Landlady here. Gary was very helpful helping us get the band gear in the marquee. Really enjoyable. The meals were popular too.

Warm, friendly pub with a large conservatory and patio with stunning views. We didn't order food on this visit but what was on offer looked really good and dining customers were really enjoying their meals.
